  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Because football is such a physical sport and because the play-offs would probably happen around the time of exams are really the only legit reasons I've heard against it. Heres a way to solve both.
1. Make it the Top 32 teams, not top 25
2. Make the regular season 10 games
3. 1 Conference Championship Game for every conference
4. Top 32 teams have the play off.

The two teams who play in the National Championship game will have played 16 games. Thats only 2 games more than the National Championship teams play now. There goes the "its too much of a physical game" problem. Instead of having a month off between the regular season and bowls, start the play-offs a week after conference championship week. That pretty much ends the "exams are near" excuse. Oh and for the teams who have winning records not in the top 32, give them bowls. There, everyone is somewhat happy.
