CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would think not. The Bible makes no mention of it in the way you are implying here.

God's holy angels protect in various ways - spiritual invisible fights, physically intervening to protect a life, and they do things to preserve the gospel.

Sometimes you do things, like decide to take a right instead of a left, or drop your fork on the ground, and it wasn't you who did them. someone(probably God himself) possesed you and had you do that certain thing. he posses your thoughts a lot more then you realize too.
granted, he doesn't do it so that you'd notice. you think YOU are the one who is in control. so it's not really possesion in the demonic sense.
then again, i knew a guy who got utterly possesed and no control of his body at all, he was being tortured, and i think God did it to him as a punishment for his sins.
I'd like to add that all of this is simply my opinion, i do not have any biblical basis for any of it.

Angels are ministering spirits (Heb 1) and encamp around those that fear Yahweh (Psalm 34:7) but I don't recall any Scripture about Godly angels possessing believers. However, Matt 8:28 tells us Jesus met two possessed with devils that came out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. The demons knew Jesus & talked to Him using the humans' voices.

I know non-denominational includes a lot of different belief systems butI'm still trying to understand what you're saying. I know we have to deal with the seeds we've sown. For ex. if someone steals cars and goes to prison, if he/she becomes saved, they still have to remain in prison. In that sense they can be tormented because they've come to a realization of how Yahweh views their crimes?. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth - just trying to understand.

Since Yahweh is Spirit and Scripture is filled with the it, it seems we need to know a lot more about the supernatural.
Also, here's another Scripture about the enemy possessing Luke 22: 3Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve."
Still don't see one about angels possessing.

I would say no to possess is usually done for a spiteful mean reason hence why only demons do this. Not to mention that human creatures are higher up than angels. They are protectors and they fight the battle with demons daily we just can't see them. But they would have no reason to want to hurt us or take over our bodies. They cant anyways because they are under God's command and he allows us as humans freewill and that wouldn't be possible if angels were controlling us.

Well, deamons are opposed to God, angels serve him. They are opposite spirits. Angels do God's will. They do not possess people.

I highly doubt so, fallen angels don't even possess people. Unclean spirits of the offspring of the Genesis 6 mess do. They're commonly called "demons" or wicked spirits in the Bible. Angels could materialize in human form in the Bible, in fact some people have entertained them unawares.
Demons seek embodiment, not angels or fallen ones.

well we have to remember demons are fallen angels so technically angels CAN possess people, but they dont as they have to live by gods law, and from my experience God is a gentleman, he never forces anything because thats going against his law of free will.... so really the angels wont possess us cause that is against gods laws.... well thats my take on it

Wait, who said demons are fallen angels? The Bible doesn't. The Holy Spirit says in 2 Peter 2:4 that the fallen angels are reserved in chains in Hell awaiting judgment.
"For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;"
The demons, or "devils" are the unclean spirits of the deceased offspring of those fallen angels that sinned by fornicating with women from Genesis 6. The Nephillim cannot be resurrected and they cannont be saved. Jesus didn't incarnate as a half-human, half-angel Nephillim to die for them. Demons always seek embodiment in scripture, angels never do.
Angels quite often appeared themselves as humans, they don't need embodiment. People have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2)

God created everything good because God, in His holiness, cannot create something sinful. So when Satan, who was once the angel Lucifer, rebelled against God and fell from heaven (Isaiah 14; Ezekiel 28), one third of the angelic host joined his insurrection (Revelation 12:3-4,9). I have no doubt these fallen angels are now known as the demons.
