Given Obama's previous exhortation that his wife and family were off limits, I wouldn't be surprised at a double standard regarding Romney's wife and family.
When did Romney ever claim that gardens were off limits? If you can link to him making such a quote, then you have a point.
Romans 2:1
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judge: for in what you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you that judge do the same things.
By accusing the Obamas and their supporters of maintaining a "double -standard regarding Romney's wife and family," MachZer0 has passed that same judgment on himself - given that Mitt Romney was ridiculing Michelle Obama for focusing on the issue of child obesity in America back in early 2011

Despite MachZerO being effectly caught with both hands caught in the "cookie jar," liberals would never expect him to admit it - we've gotten used to conservatives trying to bluff their way out!"

Just for the record, a statement like "I wouldn't be surprised at a double standard" is not making a judgement. But thanks for your judgement of me anyway. :D:D:D

Isn't this really just another case of assuming the worst possible meaning from someone you disagree with for political purposes? It is, IMO, a HUGE leap to conclude that she was attacking traditional family roles of suggesting that it isn't work to raise a family. Any reasonable person would assume that she was saying that Ann Romney, not having worked outside the home, may not have appropriate knowledge and experience to offer advice on jobs creation and such.
