DIY projects

I am getting married next year. I am going to try as many DIY projects as possible in order to save $$.

Does anyone have any ideas on projects I can do myself for this big day? this could include anything from decoration to favors.

I think it is nice what you are doing; it makes a wedding very personal. I made my own flower arrangements and since I had a small wedding this was do-able. You can buy cut flowers from the florist for a fraction of the cost of an arrangement. God bless your wedding.

How about doing the wedding invitations yourself? I've seen a lot of softwares that can help you out with this one, plus there are lots of cool papers out in the market that you can buy. Perhaps you can even ask one of your bridesmaid or friends to help you out on this particular project. A cd containing you and your fionce's fave songs are also a good bet, I was surfing the net last night and saw that it was one of the most popular wedding favors to give out to your guest. There are other things that you can do yourself as well to save money, but the secret is in creativity. Well Godbless on your wedding and have fun making the projects!!
