Divorce

Hey
its been a long time since i been on here! well it seems like it anyway...
Well, long story short, my parents are getting divorced. Been fighting for 2 years non stop, and finally divorce seems around the corner.. theres talk of my mum getting a new house, but she cant afford it.
I really want to stay with my mum, coz she needs me more than my dad does. But i dont know if she'll have enuff room for me... i really dont wanna stay with my dad.
I guess the main thing im worried about is.. i dont want them to be lonely.. or depressed. I dont want them to waste their lives wallowing in their sorrow, i want them to find someone new, people who will treat them the way they crave. Im so worried that they will regret it and it will be too late... i just want them to be happy.

So im asking you guys... please, pray for peace and happiness for my parents. Pray that they smile again.

Father God, I thank you for Marcus. I pray that you will make his parents break up peaceful and happy. I pray that you will sooth hurt feelings. Lord please be with Marcus' parents as the bickering has to stop. And also they need to seek not just Christian counseling or their pastor but also you. Because you are the one and only hope to help them and to also put your arm around Marcus and his parents. And that divorce is never an option and that help from counseling and most of all you would put the frown upside down. Please Lord do something because you are a God that works in mysterious ways. In thy name, Amen.

Thank you for the prayers and replies, they really meant alot to me, and made me smile =)
I know things will be ok in the end.. because the lord is always with us!
Whatever happens, i know he'll always be there for me. There will be alotta hurt i know, but it's all part of life and i want to experience it all. I just pray that my parents are strong enough to get through this, and that someday my mum will be able to stand up on her own.

I will certainly pray for you during this difficult time. My husband and I divorced 13 years ago when our daughter was the same age as you are now, so your request is very special to me, since I have a small inkling of what you might be going through right now. My daughter came through it well only because of God's grace in her life, and is now happily married. I will be praying that you will find peace and direction, and that your parents will not place you in the middle of the diffulties between them. I know you asked for prayer for them to each find someone new that makes them smile again, but as someone much older who has walked through this situation before, I can tell you that until they are happy with who they each are themselves, they won't be happy with someone else. So with your permission I will pray that God will speak to them and help them in their struggles to become whole people, so that ultimately they can have a healthy relationship with someone when the time is right.

May God send you an abundance of blessings as you walk through this time.
