I have a Catholic friend who has a brother who was a victim of child molestation. 12 boys in all were molested by the one sexual predator. Of the 12 victims, six boys committed suicide before they reached adulthood; three survived to adulthood, but were too emotionally shattered to hold down a job or get married, this included her brother; the other three were able to hold down jobs and get married, but life was very emotionally difficult for them. The sexual predator, that destroyed these twelve boys’ lives, got 400 hours of community service for his crimes against them. Was this a victory for Christ’s Divine Mercy toward the unrepentant sexual predator (minus the 400 hrs of secular court issued community service) or was this a defeat of Christ’s Divine Justice?

The Blessed Mother told Str. Lucia, St Jacinta and St. Francisco, the three seers at Fatima, that Archangel Michael will bring the gift of ‘transparency of actions’ to earth. What do you think of an Apostolic Successor reading a scroll of auto-anathemas, which bind child molesters, murderers, rapists, thieves, perjurers, adulterers, and all who victimize others, to their sins, until these criminals confess their crimes to civil State Prosecutors and State Courts, and the media (if the media wants to know)? This sounds like the path to Christ's 'Kingdom Come' and a civil justice utopia, if you ask me.

A man seeks Christ’s forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, ‘Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I rapped for children, cut their throats and buried their bodies in the back yard’. The Priest replies, ‘The Boston Globe has taught us a lesson, you must first go to secular Prosecutors and confess your crimes against children to them and in secular courts. Without confessing your crimes to secular authorities first, there is nothing I can do, because even if I distribute Christ’s Divine Mercy of forgiveness, through Christ's Power in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, on you, for murder and child molestation, there will still be an active Catholic Church Anathema, which is Christ's Power to hold sins bound, Christ’s Divine Justice, on you, damning your soul to hell, for not confessing your crime to secular authorities.’ So the child rapist/murderer says, ‘I am not going to spend the rest of my life in prison! All I want is Christ’s Divine Mercy through His Sacrament of Reconciliation, so I can go to heaven! The Priest responds, ‘Well go home and think about it. And, by the way, be very careful not to get hit by a bus, and die and go to hell, until you truly repent of your sins! Spending the rest of your life in prison is a small price to pay for a repentant sinner spending eternity with Jesus in heaven'

Acts 5 Ananias and Sapphira.
A man named Ananias, however, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property. He retained for himself, with his wife’s knowledge, some of the purchase price, took the remainder, and put it at the feet of the apostles. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart so that you lied to the holy Spirit and retained part of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain yours? And when it was sold, was it not still under your control? Why did you contrive this deed? You have lied not to human beings, but to God.” When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last, and great fear came upon all who heard of it. The young men came and wrapped him up, then carried him out and buried him.

After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, unaware of what had happened. Peter said to her, “Tell me, did you sell the land for this amount?” She answered, “Yes, for that amount." Then Peter said to her, “Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen, the footsteps of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” At once, she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men entered they found her dead, so they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.

Grace and peace to you.

I am sorry to hear about your story. All I have is this: John 10:10.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

The devil came to destroy. The devil will continue to come and destroy--God is working against the devil. There is a spiritual battle going on around us.

God did not do these things to these boys. Jesus was sent so these boys could have life to the fullest. The devil sent demons, or spirits, to harm their minds and move them towards suicide.

They should confess their crimes to a Priest, then secular authorities if the punishment for the crime does not exceed what God has stated. So if somebody commits murder, they should be willing to accept their own death if they are truly sorry for their sins. But if somebody commits theft and the punishment happens to be death, then they should not subject themselves to that. They should pay back the amount they took or the value of the item they stole, and a little extra for committing the crime.

In an ideal situation, the Church and State would be united in the dispensation of Justice so that all the things God has said are crimes would be punished, and with appropriate severity.

The answer is yes, both.
Can Christ be mercifully without justice or just without clemency?

Christ is merciful and just, it's his nature.
How can Christ be both forgiving, merciful and just? Isn't this a impossible threefold? Yes it is in our mind, but God is waaaay bigger than the human mind.

This is an enigma we have to accept and live with.

The Blessed Mother tells us that there is very little crime in the Golden Era for Mankind which is to come. Jesus Commanding His Apostolic Successors/Angels of the Apocalypse, to put the eternal death force of Catholic Church Auto-Anathema upon anyone who dares to harm the least of His people, is a good first line of defense to protect the vulnerable.

Oh, you, a violent criminal, who have harmed Christ's most vulnerable, now want to go to heaven to be with Jesus? Hallelujah! The door to Christ's great Mercy is just past the door where you confess all your crimes to the secular judge of the local land. This will protect our children.
