  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You can take this as sad or good news but Pixar is breaking away from Disney. From what I understand Disney is sucking their will to live, well I guess Pixar doesn't feel like they have enough creative freedom. But Disney gets to keep the characters, which means there could possibly be a Toy Story 3, just not done by Pixar, sad sad. An interesting side story, Disney wanted Toy Story 2 to be direct to video, they thought it would never top the first one. Ha!

1.Toy Story 2
2.Toy Story 1
3.A Bugs Life-Can we say Seven Samurai?
4.Finding Nemo
5.Monsters Inc.

I wish I could say I was surprised by Disney letting Pixar go, but after seeing some of their decision in the past I am not. Disney, especially under Eisner, has done some really dumb things through the past couple of years.

I hope Pixar thrives on their own. I love all their movies and am especially looking forward to the Incredibles.

I think my favorite Pixar movie to date would have to be Toy Story 2 followed be a close second of Monsters Inc. After that I would have to place the others in a tie. :)
