Disney is slowly integrating itself with manga and anime...and it seems to have begun with Kingdom Hearts (which was a wonderful idea by the way), but that's besides the case. Slowly Disney has begun to take over major companies such as Marvel (so they're going into American comics as well), and releases Studio Ghibli films in America under the Disney license as well (Ponyo). Now they've released three manga so far (as far as I've heard), and those are Kingdom Hearts (including other versions), W.I.T.C.H.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There's a billion or so Disney comics (mainly popular in Europe, especially Donald Duck) and Disney is still very popular in Japan so this is more or less inevitable.

I used to post on several Disney boards, and as I recall the Marvel comic book fans were less than thrilled with Disney purchasing Marvel. Come to think of it some Disney fans were not happy with that purchase either as they didn't want Spider-Man and company to invade the parks.
I'm a big fan of Disney films, so this is an interesting development by Disney. I'm curious as to what other Disney fans think, so I guess I'll go lurk some. My brother is the anime fan in our family, but I did enjoy Ponyo

This be old news bra. Kingdom Hearts is hands down one of the best ideas Disney could have done.
