Want to know the best Christian Hard Rock band ever? To me it has to be Disciple

My word in all my life I have NEVER EVER heard a Hard Rock band preach so much in their lyrics. Their music gets me soooo pumped becuase its all like preaching in it. Has anyone else seen this??? I mean every song they have is scripture one way or another. So crazy

They are awesome! There songs are almost pure scripture. My mom could live without them, but she says "At least they are screaming scripture at you."

Laff same here, she is always telling me to turn it down. However I love the fact that I can just sit and read their songs and see God just bursting out of them.

I just went to their concert and listened to a lot of their new stuff its pretty nice. Best thing was there was like 50-75 peeps there. So I got a chance to talk with the Drummer and the lead singer for like 15-20 mins. They are really down to earth and are very humble about what they do. I gave them mad props for preaching so much in their songs and they were embarassed lol.

do you know why kevin isn't going to keep playing bass? Did he only learn for Disciple because they didn't have one? Just curious if someone knows why.

Disciple does rock. Or, at least they did back when I was listening to them. But, I must confess, I haven't listened to them since "I Know That Jesus Is The Way" was being played over-and-over-and-over again at Youth Services around America. Haven't heard any of their new stuff...

I like their new song, The Wait is Over, but don't really care for any of their other stuff...not really my type of music. But I do adore the wait is over!
