Discernment of spirits

I didn't say I don't listen. Just nobody evil never talked to me, because I don't allow.

I think you understand that we are talking about spiritual voices.

What many don't understand, though the Bible is clear about this, is the God is spirit.

In Christianity we understand that when we talk about God we are talking about Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as one God. That is we are talking about three persons as One God. The Son, Jesus Christ is called the Word of God, because He has the words of God and we get to know Him personally. We talk back and forth with Him. So His sheep hear His voice. Thus is a person says they won't allow Him to talk to them, then do not know Him. They don't hear His voice. That doesn't mean they can't, but they refuse to listen to Him, and that happens because they don't believe He God and is good and loving. Evil wants it's that way. So one of the ways evil works is to get people doubting and fearful that anything they might hear with their spiritual ears must be evil, yet God is love and is spirit and there are more with Him than with Satan. So I have some good news for you:


Jesus said He stands at the door and knocks and if anyone hears His voice and opens the door He will come into them and eat with them and them with Him.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

The good news is that He loves you and wants that you and Him will get to know each other. Of course you are going to have to want that and open up to Him. That is very simple, you just take the attitude that you want to know Him and start saying things like "Jesus Christ I want to know you.", "Jesus Christ, I want you to teach me and show me the things I should do.", and "Jesus Christ would you come into my life" If you still are not sure about how to do this; just go to pretty much any Christian church and talk to the pastor. He should be able to cover this with you and lead you in a prayer like that.

A couple other things though; right before Jesus explained that he stands and the door and knocks He said : Rev 3:19 ‘Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

So you are probably going to have to also take the attitude that you are willing to repent and thus be willing to accept reproof - and you will want to get to that Christian church either way, because you will want to be around others who do know Him. Note: You won't find perfect people there either. So you can be a part of them even though your are not perfect. The important part is that we are trying to get to know Jesus Christ who is perfect. That is why this discussion is about hearing His voice and trying to make sure that it is Him (discernment of Spirits)

I do look forward to the days that I judge them. Because I was let known that they influenced me to want to indulge in sin to my demise. I heard them recently say "I wish we could do this to him again or that to him again" which confirmed that they did influence my behavior. It was like He let me hear them.

It angers me that their whole existence is to ruin our lives. How pathetic and evil. I do look forward to them getting their deserved reward.

Remember that Jesus said that He did not judge, but as He heard He judged?

Well - we need to be talking to the Lord as far as judgment is concerned. We will learn a lot from doing just that. I guarantee that one of the things He will talk to you about is forgiveness. And not just forgiveness but Jesus also said He would forget and put our sins away from Him as far as the east is from the west.

He forgives and forgets because it means healing to us. Forgiving and forgetting is the way for us to move on in our lives is a positive way. Inside healing is so very important to us and continually bring up things in the past is like continually picking at a sore. It keeps it from healing over.

Heb 8:8 -12 For finding fault with them, He says..... For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.

We need to understand that this is how He is! He is merciful! He forgives and forgets! And it is a good thing for us, because all have sinned and nobody could stand up to His judgement. But if we listen to Him we don't come into judgement

Jn 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

We literally get eternal life because if we listen to Him He does not judge us!! Otherwise we could get eternal life. So guess what - if you do hear His words He is going to talk to you about how He is - forgiving and not willing to remember others sins against you. That is why I can guarantee that He will talk to you about forgiveness.

I am not saying that He won't talk to you about other things, but He absolutely will talk to you about forgiveness. It is just that important. And after you forgive you need also forget it and put that in a place you are not looking at it, eg. over the horizon as far as the east is from the west is where you are not looking at it.

So my friend - forgive them, which is a simple as just saying "Jesus Christ I forgive them" and then forget what was done, which may not be so simple so pray "Jesus Christ I intend to forget what was done to me, so Jesus can you please help me with that?" Doing that will help you focus on the things in your life you need to think about. And if that other stuff keeps coming back to you test the spirits!! It is probably the enemy bring it back up, yet there is a possibility that Jesus needs to pull it back over the horizon just to teach you something, but He will certainly put it back out of sight after His purpose.

I hope this information helps. I worked in a Christian healing ministry for five years and I can't begin to tell you how many hurting Christians are walking around because they are not forgiving and forgetting and giving it all over to our Lord Jesus Christ. It causes so many problems in a persons life. Perhaps the least of which is that they are not thinking about what they should be thinking about but are focusing on the pain they got form past event instead of obtaining the potential in their life they could have. This not forgiving and forgetting also cause physical things you can't imagine.

So often we pray that someone should be healed of something physical and got nothing. Then we lead them through forgiveness and their healing from God showed up.

Mat 6:15 “But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

He is serious about that. Still - this thread was not about that, yet know that the devil does not want you forgiving others and moving on. That is about discernment of spirits.

Also, the voices started up in a very peculiar way last year. I had a dream one night about being in my elementary school gymnasium on the bleachers. At first I was trying to make friends with the girls sitting nearby. At first it was working, and then they all starting shunning me, and I was sad. Then the gym doors shut as the adults in control let in lions or tigers, some big cats, into the auditorium and locked the doors with us all inside. I froze, and was afraid, hoping that they would not attack or attack anybody else. Then one of them came up to me and started licking and then slightly nibbling on my toe. I froze and was afraid as it started to hurt. All I could think was why me? Then I heard a voice saying to me, that is just a small taste of what I suffered for you. Then I heard the voice say I love you. I thought to myself, how do I know it is you God? How do I know I'm not being tricked again? Then the voice said, you know who I AM. then I was away from the tigers and I could feel what I thought was Jesus holding my fingers with His hands. This was significant to me because that was during the small period of time while I had stopped picking my nails until they bleed and they had healed. I couldn't see Him, but I could sense His presence. He then referenced Romans 5:3-5 about how suffering produces hope. Then a shadow figure, that I thought was a demon grabbed me by the ankle and starting flying away. I thought in the dream that it was the demon that had bothered me years ago. Shortly after that I woke up scared. The night after having that dream, I prayed that any ties I had to that demon be completely severed. Immediately after that I started hearing voices which I had not heard for about 4 -5 years. they were saying, let me in, let me in. I thought no, no go away. Then they were like, damn you sea, we'll get you! then shortly after that I had breakthrough voices for about two weeks until the higher doses finally kicked in.

You obviously are getting a lot of spiritual activity in your life and that could be because the Lord Jesus Christ is trying to get into your life and help you. It is not uncommon that when the Lord tries to get into our lives that evil spirits have to fight back against it. They won't win. Jesus Christ wins. But sometimes it takes a bit more time than we would like.

Dan 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.

Daniel was one who was familiar with dreams but sometime it took some time (twenty-one days) for break through to happen, and I am not saying anything about 21 days other than you might expect the battle.

Still, the answer is Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords and there are more with us than against us. As children of the Most High we can ask for help from Jesus Christ and get it!!

So when the things like that have happened to me (demonic dreams and things like that) I find it very helpful to instantly seek Jesus Christ and ask Him for help and comment, and listen for His voice. It might take a little time, but honestly the results and even the quickness of the response has almost always amazed me. I can't even think about the number of times over that last 20 years with Him that I have been getting a nightmare and turned to Him and instantly it was gone. Often I would feel a little jerk in me as it happened, but not always. Sooo many times I could even remember the nightmare to be able to give an account before I got back to sleep moments later. Also He would sometimes talk to me and I would get some teaching about it.

We do have this spiritual realm around us, and there are different levels of heaven. Many don't have eyes to see or ears to hear, and some seeing are hearing do not turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords who sits at the right hand of God in the Kingdom of God which is in our midst.

So my friend, I appreciate your accounts. It is nice to know that you have eyes to see, just remember to seek the Lord Jesus Christ asap, just in case you didn't know that already. He will talk to you. He will break through like He did for Daniel.
