I believe in that verse. Our life doesn’t happen by “chance”.
Outside of God Himself, we have the greatest control over our direction and activities.

Agreed. The hardest part of this is matching our will to come into agreement with what God wants for us.
We know that God is good, and that He wants what is good for us.
So when we keep those two things in mind, then it becomes easier to see things as He sees them, and to match our will to His.
