Dinosaurs - missing???

and dinosaurs must have been alive in that time, how come thier is NO mention of dinosaurs in the bible?

It's possible that the 'behemoth' in Job is a dinosaur, plus the 'leviathan' which is spoken about in Job, Psalms and Isaiah.

Platapuseses live in Australia. They were as foreign from the bible writers as 70 million year gone dinosaurs.

There are many sound reasons why behemoth cannot be a dinosaur.

Nor leviathan either, as dinosaurs were terrestrial and leviathan is more like a sea monster.

Behemoth is not an apatosaurus or some such. It's a hippo!!

1. Apatosauruses cannot hide in reeds.

2. The 'tail sways like a cedar tree' is a comparison in the motion, not size. So the size of the hippo's tail is irrelevant.

3. Moreover, 'tail' can mean the male genitalia (so Albertus Magus) and 'sway' can mean 'extend.' This makes more sense in light of the suceeding phrase concerning the animals 'stones bound with sinus.' I'll give you 1 guess as to what stones are. It's actually translated 'testilucorum' in Jerone's ancient Latin Vulgate.
