I've had this problem since age 10 and going up. Although I am attached to God and everything else, I keep hearing words telling me that God sucks, etc. I don't know whether it's because that's what I want to believe that. I've prayed before now and then but there used to be that time I couldn't even get rid of that voice in my head.

that voice in your head...is the enemy, trying to steal what you have with God.
once you recognize that you can ignore him...and when you hear it, start praising God...singing praying thanking Him....when the enemy realizes you are going to turn this toward god and into worship...i doubt you will hear voices anymore...since it will defeat his purpose.

if you still hear them, maybe get checked for schizophrenia...my son has this...but is now able to control it through medication.

I will pray God to silence the voice of the enemy!! AMEN!!!!

I agree. It could be spiritual, psychological, or both. I also wanted to add that when you hear this, go into the Word. Read the Bible. It is God-inspired and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in all righteousness.

I pray that God will help you sort this out and that by the power of God, you will hear His loving voice instead. So let it be in the name of Jesus. Amen!

You don't need to feel guilty for hearing it, because it's not what's in your heart, and you seem to be resisting it.

Imagine, whether you believe it or not, that evil spirits are taunting you. They can't read your mind, but they can hear your voice and see your actions.

Speak out loud to them, and tell them to leave you alone forever. They don't have a right to be in your head if you tell them to leave.
Use Jesus' name and His promises to free you. These voices cause you bondage -- and what's worse than not having control over your own thoughts! That territory belongs to you.

Years ago when I was a baby Christian I would have terrible thoughts when I prayed. One day as I was praying and the thoughts kept coming, God told me to control my thoughts. He didn't say it in a sweet way either. He was very stern.

Well, I knew the first thing I had to do was find it in the bible to verify that it was God who had spoken to me. And by speaking to me I don't mean that it was an audible voice. It was like a voice that came out of the center of me, a knowing I guess. Sure enough, 2 Corinthians 10:5 said that we have to take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ. Also, Philippians 4:8 tells us to think about good things. God would never tell us to do these things without empowering us to do them.

Follow what we are told to do in Philippians 4:6-7...
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (NIV)

Ask for God's help with this and then do as God commanded us to do and take your thoughts captive and bring them into obedience by thinking of true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and good things. Don't believe the lies of the enemy when he tells you that you can't control your thoughts. Who are you going to believe? Him or God?

Father there are times when we have so many voices calling out to us, that yours can become harder to hear, i pray that your voice becomes the only one my friend can hear. Lord i thank you that in a world of darkness you are our guiding light and source of strength. I pray that you have mercy on my friend and help remove this ill speaking voice.

Amen

He didn't say it in a sweet way either. ... God would never tell us to do these things without empowering us to do them.
I believe it! We're likely in a victim mode when voices are stronger than we want them.

When I've had incidents with unexpected thoughts, I was very tired. I would encourage you to do what it takes to make sure you get full nights of sleep with REM... even if you think you've survived for years on less sleep than others need.

Think about what faith is. Faith is the substance of things hoped for... faith is what Jesus reprimanded his disciples for being short on... faith is the tiny bit we give, to allow great things to grow...
Faith isn't just our theology. It's believing that God can do what He said He would, involves Him helping us in ways we don't think we deserve.

We NEED to stand on promises that we logically wouldn't. We need to take faith seriously --not like it's something that superspiritual or monastic people have, or miracle-workers. God asked us to exercise our faith, and to use it. To expect things from Him... to take Him at His word.

It could also be something like Tourette syndrome, where you might have those thoughts specifically because they are inappropriate. Some people with Tourette's have like an irresistible urge to say bad words or really inappropriate things at really inappropriate times.

Lol, an excerpt from that article shows yet another use for botulism. It's bound to become the duct tape of the 2010's:

Some patients have been treated by injecting botulinum toxin near the vocal cords. This does not prevent the vocalizations, but the partial paralysis that results helps to control the volume of any outbursts.[16][17][18]

Listening to bible on tapes and walkmen helped me a lot
Same here. Most libraries have full sets, ignoring their regular max tape limits.

Since Coprolalia is part of at least two neurological disorders, you might impose some restraints on yourself -- noting what has been shown to impair or change the nervous system.

Cut back on...
Artificial sweeteners
MSG - monosodium glutamate
Stimulants like caffeine, salt, nicotine, sugar.
Proximity to power lines, wireless systems, other sources of information waves.
Contact with plastics

Increase...
Omega -3 and other helpful oils... fish oils, nuts, wheat germ
Oil-soluble vitamins like E, A, D. Also B-vitamins.
Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium... the list could go on.

I'm not saying that this is the cause (or only cause), but it's worth planning your strategies from several angles.

That voice in your head is the devil. He wants to rob you of your relationship and joy with the Lord. Just like 'MIRIAMSYNDROME' said in her bullentin, you need to praise the Lord when the devil attacks you again. And several other good things to do is to pray and to get into the Word (the Bible). The more you praise Him, pray to Him, and read His Word, you will soon find that the enemy's voice gets less and less distracting, until eventually, that voice is completely gone and Gods' voice has taken over. You will hear God's voice more and more. And always remember, the devil is a liar.

Prayer:
Father, i pray for your child, '12ogue'. I pray that, Father, You speak to him. Let '12ogue' start to recoginize your voice. That way he will be able to tell the difference between your voice and the enemy's voice. Lord let '12ogue' praise You when the enemy attacks with songs and hymns. Let him pray fervently for You when he is in need of help and let him know that whenever You hear our cries, you hear us and answer.
I pray this in Jesus name,
Amen.

Father,

I plead the Holy and redempted blood of Jesus Christ inside and out of our brother; sealing him in your Holiness. I ask that you send your angels to keep his foot from dashing upon any pebble or rock and we thank you Lord that it is done in your son's most loving and gracious name (JESUS CHRIST!). Amen.

In addition to all the other advice, what helped me the most was when I found real Spirit filled Christians who were able to pray over me and to rebuke the spirits trying to deceive me. You need help from the body of Christ more than anything.
Amen!
