Difficult?

Anybody ever find writing (anything) difficult?
And I mean the type of writing that you do because you feel like it- not really the stuff that is assigned for you to write.
I often find writing fairly easy, but is that just me?

I would think that is the thing that sets writers apart, right? I mean, I find it fairly easy. Sometimes grammar isn't, but writing is.

A lot of very good writers find writing hard. I find it hard, not that I'm claiming to be very good! I do think that as you go along, you start to realize just how difficult it is to create images and emotions inside another person's head...

I like the quote that says "Writing is easy. You just sit at a typewriter and stare at it until droplets of blood form on your brow."

But there's joy in it, even when it's hard.

Yeah, that just about describes it, doesn't it? Except now we writers stare at a computer screen.

In some way I find writing hard, and in other ways it's easy. For example, coming up with a storyline is easy for me, but I sometimes have trouble getting all the details to line up. Anybody know what I mean? Well, that's my opninion anyway. I sometime write for eight hours a day, and I love every minute of it, even the difficult parts.

Many's the time I've written a page or two of work, and then had to delete it all because it really stunk or because it simply wasn't going in the right direction. Sometimes writing is easy, sometimes it's hard, but it's always fun.

When I just go to write, it's easy. If I force myself to do it, it's hard. That's why my stories take awhile to finish, cause there are usually long pauses between each writing session.

I find it difficult to write when i don't have the inspiration, the right motive to write. I can't force myself to sit down and write about blondes and how they interact with the business realm. That means nothing to me. Yet if you get me going on something that means something, like an event that changed my life, i can write for days.
