  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Different Time, Different Place

Eyes meet, look away
So many memories, what to say?

Turn your head, hide your face
Different time, different place

Years ago or yesterday
It's all the same, anyway

Time gone by without a trace
Creates a chasm, empty space

Eyes meet, look away
So many memories, what to say?

--The verse is sort of strange, I think, but I like it that way. It makes it sound more anxious or confused, which is generally the gist of the poem. If it sounds wrong at first, try reading it kind of fast. Again, I think that emphasizes the feeling more.--

Come now, Quix, there's no such thing.

In regards to the poem, I liked it. Well written, but I didn't get much feeling of closure. That may be intentional, to go with the excited feeling of the poem, I don't know. I agree that reading quickly helps too.
Good job.
Go with God.

I am aware,
