Jesus subjected Himself to the laws of nature. He is an example for us to follow.Do you believe God is subject to the laws of nature or does he have the ability to transcend them.
He also transcended them routinely.Jesus subjected Himself to the laws of nature. He is an example for us to follow.
Ha. In the early days I posted there as Simple. I also had a few other back up accounts as required when unfair moderating became apparent there. I had a few good discussions there. They were too cowardly to allow me to continue, they couldn't stand the heat. Their only recourse was to silence me.
I have since honed my ideas a lot, and the poor old guys there would be no match now. It used to be that they could fight me to a stalemate.
Now that you are here, say something! I dare you..Revenge might be fun.
What was your name at EVC?
I was taught that He did not do anything that we can not do. Infact He said: "greater works then these".He also transcended them routinely.
Ah yes. I seem to recall you were a cosmo kind of guy.I just went there and remembered my old password. I was Eta Carinae. I was a mod back then but I guess they deleted my mod status. My last post was almost 7 years ago.
I can't remember if you were buzzsaw or time something or other.
Well I guess we can transcend laws too then. Walk on water, raise the dead, control nature, know the future, order fish and animals to do stuff, pass through walls...etc etc etc etc etc.I was taught that He did not do anything that we can not do. Infact He said: "greater works then these".
Maybe you are better at that stuff than I.
Simple. Arkathon, Cosmo, and a few others.I just went there and remembered my old password. I was Eta Carinae. I was a mod back then but I guess they deleted my mod status. My last post was almost 7 years ago.

Ah yes. I seem to recall you were a cosmo kind of guy.
Are you the one that also dives?Yep that's me - I'm a cosmologist for the most part.
Are you the one that also dives?
I am going to say this again and then I am to tired to say it a third time. There IS a difference between the man God created in Gen 1:27 and the Adam we read about in Gen Ch 2. For one thing in Gen 1:28 they were told to "replenish the earth". Adam in Ch 2 was to tend the Garden in Eden. One was a hunter gather and the other was a food producer. So they did not perish because they....were hunters!! What a scream. You in a cult? Ridiculous.
Ah. OK. Anyhow welcome to this forum. If I have to get rough, it isn't personal..His name was cavediver. I just went back and checked. He still posts it seems.
Oh dear. So how about the Adam in the New testament? Is that a third or fourth or..?I am going to say this again and then I am to tired to say it a third time. There IS a difference between the man God created in Gen 1:27 and the Adam we read about in Gen Ch 2.
Multitasking. Men are clever in some ways. Well made. No need to invent doubles or clones just because we could walk and chew gum at the same time! For one thing in Gen 1:28 they were told to "replenish the earth". Adam in Ch 2 was to tend the Garden in Eden. One was a hunter gather and the other was a food producer.
False. They were. Science is moot about it.The bottom line is that Adam and Eve lived 6,000 years ago. Noah's flood was around 4300 years ago. Clearly not ever man, women and child was destroyed 4300 years ago. Science shows us that we need to take a closer look at what the Bible is telling us.
I deduce a different state future. It is not that I wanted to dream one up. Same with the past. You want to use a "different state past", AV wants to use "embeded age". I say there is no conflict between science and the Bible. If you think there is then maybe God is calling you to take a closer look at the Bible and the message that the Bible has for us and our generation today.
DSP is the result. We do not need different state past or embeded age theorys. It does not matter if that existed or not. We simply need to read our Bible and allow the Holy Spirit of God to guide us and lead us into all truth.
Let's review that then...not all men actually killed in flood. Got it. Two Adams in Genesis. Got it. Get a grip man.I can not teach you. I can only share what I have learned in my study of the word of God.
Red letter edition? It is up to each and every individual to discover truth for themselves. No one else can do it for them.
By making Him look absurd and not doing what He said was done and inventing imaginary Adams? It is not my job to teach science or develop scientific theorys. My job is to help people to understand the Bible and hopefully to draw close to God and His love for them.
Great. Focus on listening. So I am more then happy to study the Bible with you to try and get to a better understanding of God's written word for us today.
1 Corinthians 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And there is problem #1: The natural record IS the divine record and I challenge you to prove otherwise.
Yes, reality can take a hike when God shows up to do something contrary to it.In other words, reality can take a hike.
So wait. I BARELY understand (and may not) understand what you just tried to communicate here.So how did He do His flood? Our laws?!
You kidding? Our nature..? Ha. It would be harder to conform to them than transcend them. Noah conformed to former state laws. He lived a long time. He saw fast plant growth. He saw the flood.
So then there is no detail to this theory right? You just kinda make it up as you go along without any consideration to the implications of what you're saying ?In fact, Noah also conformed to OUR laws!!!! BOTH. If the nature change was over a century after the flood, Noah was still alive.
The new Adam? There are lots of people that can explain that a lot better then I can.Oh dear. So how about the Adam in the New testament? Is that a third or fourth or..?
Yes and science tells us that Adam the food producer descended from the food gather that came before him.Multitasking. Men are clever in some ways. Well made. No need to invent doubles or clones just because we could walk and chew gum at the same time!
Science is not moot about this at all. The study of Population genetics & DNA is clear that not everyone alive today is a descendant of Moses.False. They were. Science is moot about it.
If all people do is listen then we will not have a conversation and this will become another dead thread.Great. Focus on listening.
Ask away. I don't bite when not confronted. So wait. I BARELY understand (and may not) understand what you just tried to communicate here.
Lots of detail. So then there is no detail to this theory right? You just kinda make it up as you go along without any consideration to the implications of what you're saying ?
You are saying that the God was not bound by the natural laws pre OR post shift.Ask away. I don't bite when not confronted.
Well not really. YOu pretty flippantly said "Oh yes. And this carbon based, oxygen and glucose consuming life form lived through a fundamental shift in the existence of space time and a transformational event changing every natural law in existence COMPLETELY unaffected and didn't feel the need to tell anyone about it in a clear and concise fashion.Lots of detail.
