  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i'm from the u.s east coast big city. it's always interesting to me how different people are. does anyone else think about this?
They aren't all completely like that. The same could be said for the Northerners and Southerners. I think everyone is their own person and people just generalize people when they do something that fits into their stereotype. Some of it is true, however, the Southern hospitality and all, but I have family up in the north that are very hospitable to everyone. I feel like everyone is starting be their own individual because of all the division in this country (that's a topic I don't want to even get into, if you want to get into it just go to any news article because they are probably talking about it somewhere)

I live in a big city but it seems like people are more hospitable when you venture away from crowds and city life. People seem to be kinder and more simple in their ways. The city I live in is fairly hostile with road rage and other things. I believe most people's behavior is a result of their surroundings.

Give me a cabin in the woods, away from large populations of people and I'd be a much happier camper!
