Different age in Heaven?

In some pictures of Heaven/new Earth there are kids (e.g. Jehovah Witnesses pictures)

My sister believes that in Heaven people will have the body of a 33 year old because Jesus died at that age and it is an ideal age.

In "Heaven is for Real" the boy says that when he met his sister in Heaven who died in the womb she was a girl (rather than a foetus).

I was wondering what age do you think people would appear to be in Heaven if they died as a foetus, or a toddler, or an adult or was 120 years old....

I had a dream where I was taken up to heaven and was told I would look like I did at 30. The next day on religious TV a priest said people will look 30 when they are in heaven. It was an odd coincidence, but I believe you will be youthful, but in an adult looking body.

Children will be children but adults will all appear to be mid-twenty to mid-thirty as "young adults".

Children will mature and become adults over time.

According to scripture we don't know what will look like or even what type of bodies we will have - we will be like Christ and we will see him as he truly is. When Christ left this Earth in human form, when they saw ascending, that is not how he truly is - if it was how he truly is, there would be no reason to say we will see him as he truly is.

Some disciples saw and recognized Moses and Elijah despite never having seen them before. I suppose it's possible drawings of them existed. Seems they appeared in the ages they were when active in the OT. Who would recognize a 30 year old Moses that no one had ever seen anyways?

Otherwise the bible does not reveal anything about what age people might look like in the eternity or in heaven before that.

Our bodies die in this world and are buried in the ground. I like to believe that spiritual recognition will not require physical sight, since we will have left our physical eyes behind. I think the same phenomenon that allows a soul to recognize the truth of Christ and the Gospel will allow that soul to recognize another; it will be in a way we can't fathom here.

My intention was not to say that I have no idea what will happen. My answer is essentially that I don't think we'll look like anything in the way we consider it in this life. Sorry if my post was confusing!

You're post wasn't confusing.

Saying "I don't know" is essentially the same as saying" I don't think we'll look like anything in the way we consider it in this life".

In other words you have no idea what you will be in heaven.

Were talking about heaven where this is no death. We as its written will some day be as He is and He is not old lol. This flesh here hello sin has to age and die. If there was no sin curse it would never grow old and die.

Rather than having some ancient photo to compare to - I think it is more likely that they knew them by what Jesus was calling them or something they were saying at the time. So being stuck for 1000's of years as an old decaying man is not what was their clue as I see it.

We'll have Heavenly bodies yet we'll still be recognizable to one another. No further details are given on how that's going to work out.

Did the resurrected Jesus have a heavenly body? Though his original body didn't remain.... also he wasn't recognized though Mary thought he was a gardener (i.e. no one particularly special looking)

I don't think that there will be children.
Why force someone into an eternal child body but with an adult mind?
Most logically, all infants and children who die before some age of adult mentality and body.
We tend to be in our prime in the 20's.
We should know our loved ones despite how they look. There should be some sense of their age given the new body despite the de-aging and even for those who are aged appropriately.
Given how God logically treats aborted babies and others who who die before the Age of Reason, then they too will be changed.
We can infer many things from what is said/shown and not said/shown in the Bible.

His two disciples recognized him just by his raising his hands and praying over the food.
Prior to that their eyes were supernaturally prevented from recognizing him.

Luke 24
28 And they approached the village where they were going, and He gave the impression that He was going farther. 29 And so they strongly urged Him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is getting toward evening, and the day is now nearly over.” So He went in to stay with them. 30 And it came about, when He had reclined at the table with them, that He took the bread and blessed it, and He broke it and began giving it to them. 31 And then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.

"They recognized" means that they saw that it was the same person.
