Difference between Kingdom and Dominion help

Hi all. Could someone help me out on the difference between a Dominion and a Kingdom in the Bible.
I have Daniel 11 translated and am now trying to harmonize it with the rest of the OT and Revelation.
Is there a difference between the 2? Thanks.

Ezekiel 37:22 And I have made them become one nation/01471 gowy in the land, on mountains of Yisra'el, And one king is to them all for king, And they are no more as two nations/01471 gowy, Nor are they divided any more into two kingdoms/04467 mamlakah again.

Strong's Number H4467 matches the Hebrew ממלכה (mamlakah). feminine noun

Dan 11: 4 as He stands up , She shall be broke in pieces, Kingdom/04438 malkuwth of Him, and She shall be divided for Four Winds of the heavens, ..................

Kingdom is a land or territory ruled by a King
A dominion is a territory that is self governed.

A kingdom is a land ruled by a sovereign monarchy.

A dominion can be many things. It can be a land ruled without a hereditary monarchy, or a land that is self-ruled, or even a land that is ruled by a monarch but is an imperial possession, ie, it is not the homeland. Or, it can just mean "a place that is rule," such that it could be a kingdom, but not necessarily.

In the end I wouldn't place much emphasis on it. Writers sometimes just prefer synonyms because they get tired of one word.
