As for the teachings of the ELCA, that was part of why we left. Any church that would deny any part of the scripture is NOT a church. Please don't get me wrong, I know we Lutherans are not 100% correct, but I firmly believe we are closer to the truth than anyone else. Of course I don't think that the ELCA should calls itself lutheran either.

Where did this guy get the idea that only LCMS people would be saved? I think he needs to do more studying. He clams he's Lutheran but obviously doesn't know a thing about "the church".

Mind if I chuckle in agreement? It is only by faith in Christ, which is a gift from God, that we can be saved, regardless of what denominational title we use. The important thing is faith in Christ and his sacrifice upon the cross.

I've never been fond of the tv in church idea. If I have to sit so far in the nosebleed section I can't see the Pastor I think its time for another church and Pastor lol. Not to say anything bad about that church, but I am a supporter of smaller churches. Even the larger Cathedrals do fine without TV screens.

It doesn't speak to who is going to heaven. If you thought that, then you thought wrong.

This is most certainly true. However, the real question is who in the church believes and who does not.


For those who do not believe, we need to pray for them that God's Holy Spirit would bring them to faith in our beloved Saviour.
