Did you give or receive flowers from your spouse on a March 8?
I neither gave nor received
Yeah I bought my wife flowers, dinner and a book she’d been wanting. What about Saint Valentine's Day then?
Any flowers on that day?
Is March 8 a flower giving holiday of some kind that is escaping me?
Why would we? I had to look it up. No offense its the "flowers" I didn't understand. Going back 1909-1914...its sad it has seem to be forgotten.
International Women's Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.[3] It is also a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.[4
Over the years, women and men alike have continued to give the gift of flowers to show their appreciation for the strong women in their lives. And although the mimosa flower has a special significance, it's not the only flower given. According to The New York Times, flower shops across Russia sell upwards of 150,000 roses on March 8. You, too, can participate in the flower-giving tradition this year; order flower delivery to the special women in your life ahead of time, or pick up a bouquet from your local flower shop and gift individual blooms to the women you pass throughout the day.
give me chocolate any day over smelly flowers, lol
And no, I don't support strange international holidays.
Correct. I no longer celebrate those, either. I used to, but things have changed after doing research through the Holy Spirit's nudging. Then I suppose you do not support Christmas and Easter either.
Because they are also international.
I suppose you only find good what you know already.
And anything else is worthless and un-interesting for you.
Sorry.
