Sometimes I buy games a garage sales but I like to get my consoles new.

The only console I ever had close to launch was N64, it still works well enough that I would be able to sell it 10 years later.

The people you buy from and the overall condition of the property have a lot to do with buying yard sale electronics. You want to buy from someone that you can tell takes care of everything they own.

I never find video game stuff at garage sales *sob* but I wish I did, for you get stuff insanely cheap, people don't know how much their video games are worth!

I always try to be consoles new, especially all of the newer consoles because they store so much information on the hard drive. You wouldn't want to buy a console that has been banned from Xbox Live or a service like that.

The only console I have bought new was the Nintendo Entertainment System. I got the system, 2 controllers, the zapper gun, and a bunch of games for $20!
