One of the classes I'm taking this semester is Music Theory. We had a test today over the two previous chapters we just finished. I was fine with the chapter three material, but struggled with learning and understanding the chapter 4 material. I had a 2 1/2 hour break between my science class and theory, so I decided to sit in the lobby of the music building and review my notes and do some homework before class started. As I was walking from the science building to the music building, an idea occurred to me: "You know, I'm going to sit down for a few minutes and read some scripture before I do anything because I might not have time to do it the rest of the day." The scripture on my mind was Psalm 121. I read through it, highlighted the first two verses because they stuck out to me.
After I read that and a few other things, I opened my homework packet and all of the sudden everything that I had been struggling to understand in class became crystal clear and I blew through the homework. I went to class at 11:00 to take the test and got all of the answers correct.
"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."
---Proverbs 16:3
