AV1611,
I am disturbed by your rejecting scientific method in post #74.

It occurs to me that Jesus never tried to solve a practical problem with a theological idea, unlike some modern Christians.

Oh, really? How about His feeding the five thousand, or the four thousand? How He stilling the storm with a simple, "Peace, be still"? Or more importantly, how about His going to the cross for you and me to solve a very practical problem? What about He telling Peter to get money from a fish's mouth in order to pay tribute money in Matthew 27? I could go on, but do you get the point?

Yes, I get the point: Read my sig. You believe ridiculous impossiblities without question and without reason, and you reject reason to do it, which makes you a perfect example of every argument I have against the exclusively auto-deceptive insanity of faith.

What idiot revived this thread? Oh, the same one as usual. This is my surprised face.

The village idiot. I'm not surprised that newbies want to see his tired antics, but disheartened to see so many old timers playing his game.

My wife must think they are feeding 5,000. We went to the park to have a birthday for a nephew and they had way more food then anyone could eat. I keep asking her why there is so much and she says don't worry people take it home and it gets eaten. I am not so sure, but whatever.

It's like those hoarder programs on TV. What do you do when you have to much. You sell all you can sell, you give away all you can give away and it just seems like you end up with even more then what you had. If God's promise to us is an abundance, then I know there are times when we seem to have an abudnance.

Your more then welcome to come to the next one. We usually get the Christmas party because we can easily fit over 100 people in our house. The guy we bought it from was an architect for Arby and he did a real nice remodel job to turn this into a party house. I think they said this was like the 10 or 12th house they had fixed up to resell.

may have been mentioned already.

But majority of snakes are venemous, and none/few are poisenous, there is a difference. recently been found out that majority of snakes are venemous, and ironicly so are a large chunk of the lizards that snakes are believed to have evolved from. So pretty neat dicovery last few years that coincides with evolution hyphothesized tree of life.
