Did humans descend from monkeys? Where is your evidence?

You don't understand biology
All high school graduates have to be tested in biology to graduate from high school. In fact I have a high school biology book right here. What part of it do you think I do not understand?

Every bit about evolution.

Apidium, though not identical to any modern species of monkey, has every trait common to the monkeys that live today. It is, by any reasonable definition of the term, a monkey. So, to say "we evolved from monkeys" is perfectly reasonable.

Where is the evidence that it came from Abraham?

Yes, that is true. But to conflate that with the idea that creationists put forward of humans evolving from modern monkeys (not saying that you are, but obviously joshue1 9 is) is not true.

Good point. But rather than saying "no, we did not evolve from monkeys," which is inaccurate and pretty confusing, I think the better answer would be to talk about the particular early monkeys that we evolved from and point out that they are not the same as modern monkeys.

Which would not particularly matter for these people, since they'll still go and say "AHA! See! We did come from monkeys!", without really knowing what they're talking about.

God told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. DNA show that God did exactly what He said He was going to do. Of course only those willing to enter into a Covenant relationship with God comprehend. Covenant breakers are not able to understand the things of God.

Genesis 17:5 "My covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations."

Why do creationists always say that even children can recognize what a kind is, and then always present dog and cat and fish and bird, etc.?

Would a child know to classify a dolphin as a mammal, or would they call it a fish?

How would they classify a hyena? Would they be in the same kind as jackals?

Would a bat be part of the bird kind? Particularly after reading about bats being called birds in the Bible?
