Did God create other beings in the Universe??

I was watching a documentary called "God of Wonders" on Netflix. It is very powerful if you want to give it a look see.

Anyways, I was wondering with all of the other galaxies (a mind blowing amount), did God create other life besides us on Earth? I've always been told before I became Christian it would be foolish to believe that we are the only life...

If God created other life, what of them?

I try not to think about it too much from a theological side. I imagine that's how the mormons might have got started. They believe they can be Gods of their own planet. God wasn't really - Thee God, but rather, a link on the chain of some type of infinite regress of gods as such. Once he was a human like us.

I'd advise consider this whole idea, not the mormon thing of course; but this alien thing, then come to some type of peace with it.
What we know about the salvation plan happens right here, and will end right here.

Scientifically speaking:- There must be other goldilocks planets out there. However "science" tends to be very limited in the variables they include to give you their general estimations for possibilities of life on other "M class planets" to coin a phrase.

Let's accept for a second complete biological evolution as proposed by mainstream natural science is true. You still have to consider an almost infinite scale of factors. Many mainstream scientists will even conclude we might be alone in the universe having thought about the equation.

I mean we've seen biological life survive in the most extreme conditions.
But the variables needed to arrive at the answer to this question haven't even been thought about yet, much less calculated. Planetary variables, star distance size, complexities in abiogenesis, chemical compositions, solar system integrity, planetary shielding, formation of biological self replication, lunar factors, weather factors, biological co-dependencies and on and on and on and on it goes where it stops nobody really knows. It a big ask however. The odds are desperately small at best. And that's being neutral about the whole argument.

Hugh Ross one of the scientists at Reasons To Believe; predicts we will find the remains of biological life on the moon, because of impact events etc and we might even find them just under the surface of mars. This would be earth ejected matter however.

There's a program called Seti that's been operating for some decades now searching space for an intelligent signal. It's been unsuccessful thus far but they have only searched on a small scale to be fair.

Allot of physicists have come to accept a type of desist God because of the fine tuning beauty and complexity of the universe. I quite like cosmology myself and it's one of the main arguments that supports my belief in God. If the universe began, and all the data says yes; then who began it?

Why the need for this whole universe then you may ask?

To lower the lofty astrophysicist to his proper place in the creation, in my opinion, in awe and amazement of it's Creator. We all need reasons to believe. For some simple love, for some logic, some reason, others the beauty and majesty of the creation. It's truly a humbling thing to consider.

There is no reason for life NOT to exist on other planets..It may be beyond our comprehension though..
Mineral based,pure energy, incorporeal..the possibilities are endless.

Possibly. For the universe is so vast, with something like a hundred billion different galaxies, each containing something like a hundred billion different stars, that even if only one star out of every ten billion stars has a planet with intelligent life on it, there would still be a trillion inhabited planets. This would be to the great glory of God, for he is the Creator of everything (Revelation 4:11). God could deal with intelligent life on other planets in the same way that he deals with us: some individuals could go to a heaven when they die, while others could go to a hell. Or, the intelligent life on some other planets may have never fallen into sin, like Adam and Eve did, so that the intelligent life on those planets never became mortal. Any such unfallen, intelligent life could be living in sinless, immortal bliss on their planets, like Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden before their fall. Also, ultimately, the destiny of saved people on this planet is not to live forever in heaven like ghosts strumming harps on clouds, but to live forever in resurrected, immortal, physical bodies (1 Corinthians 15:52-53, Romans 8:23-25, Philippians 3:21, Luke 24:39) on a new earth with God (Revelation 21).

Some people feel that we must not believe in the existence of aliens, for then we could be deceived by entities, such as Satan and other fallen angelic beings, claiming to be aliens. But the existence of aliens does not require that all aliens must be good, just as the existence of angels does not require all angels must be good. We would have to evaluate the goodness of any alien in the same way that we would have to evaluate the goodness of any angel: by the doctrine that he teaches (Galatians 1:8), by his faithfulness to God's Word the Bible (2 Timothy 4:2-4; 1 Timothy 4:1, John 8:31b, Matthew 4:4), by his obedience to YHWH God (Mark 12:29-31, Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Leviticus 19:18b). Also, the Bible does not say that Satan appears as a good alien, but it does say that he can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). So worrying about being deceived only by "aliens" is a dangerous distraction. We need to be careful of being deceived even by angels of light.

The best way to strengthen your faith is to read (or hear) every word of the Bible (Romans 10:17, Matthew 4:4) over and over again. One way to do this is to think of the Bible as seven volumes:

1. Genesis to Deuteronomy
2. Joshua to Esther
3. Job to Song of Solomon
4. Isaiah to Malachi
5. Matthew to Acts
6. Romans to Philemon
7. Hebrews to Revelation

You can read a chapter in each volume every day. This will keep you current in every part of the Bible. After a while, there will not be any part you have not read recently enough to remember what it says. When you reach the end of a volume, simply start again at the first chapter of that volume. In this way, you will be cycling through smaller volumes like #6 and #7 much more often than larger volumes like #2, but the smaller volumes are so much more dense with doctrine, it can be profitable to read them over and over more often.

Also, you can listen to recordings of people reading the Bible, whenever you need to keep your eyes on something else while you listen (such as keeping your eyes on the road while you drive, or on a cutting board while you're preparing food, or on your clippers while you're trimming a hedge). In this way, you can listen to the Bible throughout the day, whenever you don't need to be thinking about something else (such as in class, or at a job). Also, you can listen to the Bible even while you're going to sleep, so that it will become part of even your subconscious mind.

He created angels: rational beings that are pure intellect, having no physical bodies.

As for critters like us, physical creatures with rational souls, we quite simply have no idea. We know of nothing in either Natural or Divine Revelation that says anything one way or the other. To me it seems possible that there are such creatures, and even that they never fell from grace.

C.S.Lewis wrote an excellent trilogy on this theme. The books are Out of the Silent Planet, Perelandra, and That Hideous Strength. Worthwhile reading.

If there was an alien race out there, and they sinned. How would they be saved? They can't. Because Christ will never die again for sin. It has already taken place for man. That's why Christ had to become a man, because it was man's sin.

What if they have no concept of sin,therefore are free of it.would they still need to be saved from something they do not do?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Adam and Eve had no concept of sin either. All they knew was that God gave them a choice to obey what God said, and they disobeyed. Thus, they learned about sin through the knowledge of good and evil.

Could you maybe say that there was "life" on other planets, such as bacteria, or something that doesn't have a soul? Maybe. But why would God do that? Animals, and all of God's creation were made for man. He didn't make the universe for aliens, or anything else. God made the earth, for man to rule over. It doesn't add up with what we know about God, and what it says in the bible.

But if there is an "intelligent" being out there, with free will, and able to make it's own decisions, then it has to make a decision about God. And it will fall into sin. And thus need a Savior. Except there isn't one, because Christ died for man, not for anything else. Thus, there cannot be "intelligent life" out there in the universe.

The reason people believe in aliens so much, is that they want to believe there's a reason for things besides God. They want to believe that aliens planted us here. Or that through random chance, there was a chance somewhere else that life could have existed.

Seems a matter of logical necessity; assuming free choice is always the opinion God would choose.
That some created being, on another possible earth like planet would at least one time, choose not to do God's will. Thus introducing sin and need for redemption.

But say if the other creatures on all these possible other worlds; were all animals. That is to say not capable of the knowledge of good and evil and conscious Sin. Didn't possess the capacity of knowing I place name here have sinned.

Then it wouldn't cause a problem.

As I stated before,that the life out there is more than likely beyond our comprehension..who are we to judge whether or not they are of a sinful nature?

Because they are finite creatures. They will always fall. There is not a single human today, except Christ, that can claim that they are sinless.

Aliens would be no different. For you to claim that they could be sinless, is to claim that they could be God. For only God was the only one who could live without sin.

How do you know they are finite?If a life form is of pure energy or spirit,would that life form be finite?We try to put limits on things we can not comprehend,which is ludicrous. Until we can comprehend something,we should not try to assign human attributes and failings to them.
The Bible only speaks of life and the state of sin on Earth,not the entire universe.

Because only God is infinite. By the very definition of infinite, everything else other than God is finite, otherwise it would be God.

The universe, is finite, because it is a created thing, by God. Everything created by God, is finite, because only God can be infinite.

It speaks about the state of sin, and the whole creation was cursed.

If you want to believe in aliens, that's fine, I can't stop you. I've just provided good reasons why I don't think they exist according to what we know about God in the bible and what He says.

the whole creation of EARTH..it said nothing about the stars and,other planets and what life may have existed there..
