Do you think while he walked the earth,he would whip someone?
Isn't he the same yesterday, and tomorrow?
Would you deserve to be whipped by Him?

Luke 12:48 The one yet no knowing doing yet worthy of blows/plhgwn <4127> shall be being smitten few. To every yet to whom was given much shall be being sought beside of him and to whom they-committed much more exceedingly they shall be asking him.

Reve 15:1 And I perceived another sign in the heaven, great and marvelous. Messengers, seven, having blows/stripes/plhgaV <4127>, seven, the last, that in them is finished the fury of the God.

There appears to be a lot of joking around in this thread, but this is a very serious subject.

The question really shouldn't be "What would Jesus Christ do?" - rather "What will Jesus Christ do?" The most serious question involves unrepentant sinners who have rejected Jesus Christ and died in their sins. What will Jesus Christ do with them at the Great White Throne Judgment? - Eternal punishment in the fires of hell.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ - His Body. Christians, give thanks that you don't get the punishment you so richly deserve. Jesus Christ took our punishment - the just for the unjust - the righteous for the unrighteous - the Holy for the unholy.

Romans 8:1-2 (KJV) 1 [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It's a good thing for those who reject Jesus Christ to ask "What will Jesus Christ do with me?"

Good News! -- The Holy Bible is the WORD OF GOD! -- God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit - The Creator Of All Things! -- "GOD'S GRACE" and "OUR WORKS" -- Thanksgiving Proclamations ( 1623 to 1863 ) -- Thanksgiving Proclamations ( 1961 to 2001 ) -- JESUS CHRIST - VERY GOD - LORD - SAVIOUR - MESSIAH - KING

Yes we hear you just like these other 2 posts:

This would be like a picnic compared to the Tribulation Period, the Second Coming of Christ, and the Great White Throne Judgment.

Jesus Christ will come in Great and Holy Wrath at His Second Coming, and He is the Holy Judge at the Great White Throne Judgment.

Sample:

Revelation 6:1-17 KJV And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. 3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. 5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The day will come when Jesus Christ will condemn countless hosts to the eternal fires and punishments of hell.

Sample:

Revelation 20:11-15 KJV 11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

No, I can't do that. How about you choosing a less serious subject to make funnies with?

2 Timothy 4:2-4 KJV Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Can anyone imagine Jesus saying this?

Deuteronomy 25:1 “If there is a dispute between men and they come into court and the judges decide between them, acquitting the innocent and condemning the guilty, 2 then if the guilty man deserves to be beaten, the judge shall cause him to lie down and be beaten in his presence with a number of stripes in proportion to his offense. 3 Forty stripes may be given him, but not more, lest, if one should go on to beat him with more stripes than these, your brother be degraded in your sight.

Not only that, but why is the guy degraded, after 40?
Like 38 stripes would not be degrading?:D

Jesus always seemed calmer than the Father, maybe because He accepted His mortal limits and was content with them. He lived in submission to God.

Me personally..I see the G_D thing,and "Yeshua",as a divisive thing.Country club.Like only for the messianics.That is just my opinion,no offense.:)
How is it 'country club' to call someone by their G-d given name? And it was G-d given, through the messenger Gabriel. He told this to Joseph, to name him Yeshua which in Hebrew means Salvation. The whole OT is full of G-d promises to send his Salvation. Yeshua means Salvation and when I see that or use it I am reminded of G-ds love. Jesus has no meaning in the word. So it is not elitist, just proper and respectful. I have used the name Jesus many times in these forums to not offend you Gentiles and the few times I have you attack me like this, it's sad really because that is his name and at that name of Yeshua will every knee bow.

It's not just for Messianics, its for anyone to use that chooses to use his correctly given name, by G-d.

Good point.:)

Seems to be various traits revealed by God.:)

That is your POV, a clique is an exclusive club, it is not exclusive at all to call him by his correct G-d Given, did you see that, G-D GIVEN name. No one said you can't call him that. Those who translated the books from their original decided this for you. I didn't let them decide it for me.

In many bibles, the name, THE NAME, or HaShem which also means, THE NAME, the HOLY name of G-d is rendered. L-RD. That is why you will read in some places.

I AM the L-RD your G-d.

They did not use the translation, some use Jehovah which is totally wrong in many ways, others did respect it and put it in Capital letters as L-RD. But using an 'o' in there. Because of todays casualness and forms of writing, I think it best to separate it even further to show the Holiness of it. That is my prerogative and I am not telling anyone else to do it so why do you have a problem with it? You and many others here like to use your own shorthand for things you think are worthy of making fun of and use things like

sab, ULB, Uncle Moses, Judaizers, and other things that show disrespect. That is something to be called on. I am showing due respect to my G-d and that is no reason for a Christian to call me on it unless they don't have any respect for G-d.

You probably don't like it because it does have to do with a commandment, which many of you say are done away with and want that to be true and are pricked in the heart by anyone else that does follow them and doesn't believe they are done away with.

There was a death penalty for this too so it must have been a big deal to G-d, just like breaking the Sabbath by carrying wood, something that could have been done the other 6 days in the week.

Thou shalt not take the name of the L-RD thy God in vain; for the L-RD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

No, I don't believe that this is 'done away with', He says he will not hold him guiltless, and I believe him.

If you want to be least in the kingdom of G-d that is most certainly your choice, your decision, and your right to choose, and also your lot for eternity. But you have been warned.

The death penalty was enacted during those days of the wandering. It was in this past weeks Torah portion:

Leviticus 24: 10 And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian *, went out among the children of Israel * : and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp; 11 And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the L-RD, and cursed . And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:) 12 And they put him in ward, that the mind of the L-RD might be shewed them. 13 And the L-RD spake unto Moses, saying , 14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. 15 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying , Whosoever curseth his Godbear his shall sin. 16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the L-RD, he shall surely be put to death , and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the L-RD, shall be put to death .
This is what happens when you mix Jew and gentile, but the gentile is not free from this law either.

Beware of countless books :D :p

..........According to the Emphatic Diaglott the correct rendering of the latter part of this passage is: "The Book of the Life of the Lamb." Now, what is meant by this term – THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB? The wise man said, "...of the making of many books there is no end..." (Eccl. 12:12).

The book stores are filled to overflowing today with all types of books dealing with every aspect of earthly life. Even in the church world there are books setting forth every kind of viewpoint relating to God, the Bible, doctrine, Christian experience, and church order.
However the subject material of most of these books largely contains a message of religious tradition and spiritual death.
