Did David have blue eyes?

Samuel saw David for the first time in (NKJV) 1 Sam 16:

And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking.

adjective: fair, beautiful

Did David have blue eyes?

It did not say that he had. English Standard Version:

And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.”

Statistically speaking, as a Middle Eastern person, I doubt David had blue eyes.
