When the news showed President Bush at the White House, on the side table next to him was an icon of the blessed mother? I could not recognize it since they the camera flash across it but it was absolutely a eastern icon of Mary and Jesus.

What do y’all think about that?

I just saw it again. Fox is the station who keeps repalying the scene from last night. It’s not OLPH. I know that much. The Orthodox more than likely could recognize it.

I know that his brother Jeb and Jeb's wife are Catholic. Jeb's wife is particularly devoted to OLPH. In fact, during 2000's election she offered Novena's during the re-count and we know how that turned out!! Most likely guess is that the icon came either from Jeb or perhaps from one of his visits to the Pope.
