  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

have you had any leak on you. my friend swears by White Cloud and they totally leak for Trevor. He pees through them everytime, so now we have to use Huggies...... *sigh* more spendy, but at least i dont have to deal with pee all the time. They work so good.

Yes White Cloud leaked for us too, even when David was as big as a size 3. For newborns I thought the Pampers Swaddlers were the best, after that Huggies Baby Shaped or Pampers Baby Dry or Luvs are good. Luvs is cheapest but has a weird smell size 4+

Someone tell me why the pound labels don't work for what size diapers REALLY fit. My son is 20 pounds and he is in the diaper size 5 labelled 29 lb + ??

mmmm....I'm gonna try those! Even tho Andie's out of diapers, I still use wipes to clean her up after meals, carry them in the car, etc...

I like the smell too. But I didn't buy them... I don't have much confidence in the strongly scented wipes.

I use the Pampers Aloe or Lavender.

Everything leaked. I thought that maybe it was because he was a boy and my others were girls that it was leaking. "Push it down" they say, ya right. "It" pops right back up again as soon as you have the diaper on. For now he is dry. We are using Huggies.

thats what i was told too.... i was thinking the same thing...you cant keep "it" down all the time.

I have tried the newborn pamper wipes...but not any other kind of pamper wipes...as for diapers I seen andiesmomma talked about swaddlers...we have a package of those from our shower...I cant wait to try them...I think that was the best part about a diaper shower..we got all these diapers of different brands and we kind of got to test them out....btw white cloud leaked so bad on us, literally one night I was covered in well smelly...my husband thought it was so funny til he got it the next night..we thought we didn't put the diaper on well enough..lol...as for cloth...I considered the idea...cause there was alot of pros than cons to me..but, hubby thought maybe it wasn't such a great idea...and I admit I went with convience myself after I heard his view on it....but I have heard alot of great things about cloth...as well as regular diapers....guess its what you feel comfortable with.

That is so true about diaper sizes! My dd is 9 months, 18 pounds, and she is BUSTING out of her size threes, which are supposed to be up to 28 pounds?? So I'm going to give in and get her 4s. It's totally weird.

Pamper Cruisers all the way. Luvs were great in the size 2s, but then the 3s fit her strangely, she always looked like she was carrying around a full load! I hate spending more money, but now that she's old enough to have the "adult-like" poo-poo, I just can't risk blowouts . . . I get gaggy and grossed out if it's all over the place.

Because of the "gaggy poo" issue, I never considered cloth diapers. Once I read the phrase -- you must scrape out the waste before washing the diapers, I was totally OVER the idea of cloth, LOL!!
