About 10 Minutes Ago My Sister Was Informed That Her Husband Of 8 Years Was Arrested For Child Pornograpy, She Is A Christian But Doesnt Go To Church In A While... She Is Coming Here In A Few Minutes, What Can I Say To Help Here Feel Ok....please Respond, I Am Sick About Her And Am So Worried.

Oh Dear Lord, please put your hand of love into this situation and soothe those hearts that have come to you in faith. Help the police investigate this crime and bring all who are guilty to justice, and excercise mercy toward the victims by giving just punishment to anyone involved in this criminal practice. If this man is innocent, let that innocence come to light and let that light shine for all the community to see. If he is guilty, have mercry on his family and protect them from living in abject shame for crimes they had nothing to do with. And if the child is lying, let your mercy come upon him or her by exposing the lie but not damaging the child beyond repair by allowing more punishment than is warranted. Through the power given to us through your cross, Amen.

Tell your sister there is only one power available that can break the awesome power holding someone addicted to child pornography, and that is God. If your brother in law wants to break that power, really desires in his heart, to break it once and for all, he can do it. But, and this is the unfortunate part, if he doesn't want to break it in his own heart, (and not because he was caught and now wants a major problem to just go away), I am afraid nothing will help him.

She is coming to you (her sister) to share with you, your role is to listen and support without judging. and also as was stated above to comfort her with loving words like "it's ok, it's not you're fault, lets go to God and ask His help in this" Pray pray pray.

Update We heard the charges against Him on our news and my sister went to the police station to follow up on the situation as when she got home they had alreadytook items from their house and a search warrant was posted on the table.

He was caught because he was sending Child pornography to who he thought was another Pedifile in Mossouri, it turned out to be an undercover Policeman.
We are at this time Numb and my sister has just about shut down, I do know to remember that God Doesnt give us more than we can handle May God bless you all for your prayers... they have been felt.

WOW.. I'm so sorry to hear of the difficult time your (you and your family) going through.

Just today I was on the AFA website. I go there often and look at the news that I can write to my state rep's and congressmen about and such. For the first time I saw a link to "Pure Life Ministries", and clicked on the link. As I was looking at it I thought how great it was, but how I hoped that it would reach some people that really need their specialized guideance. It's geared primarily toward men addicted to porn. I'll pass it along.. hopefully your brother-in-law can benifit from some of their literature.

I just read the article. How sad! 22 years he worked there, and threw it all away for the sake of child porn. How satan can topple people who have everything to lose and nothing to gain from their sin. I pray that this man will come to terms with his problem and not only get help, but get right with God. He's probably got a lot to repent!
