  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This show gets more and more interesting with each episode.

I have to admit... when it first started, I figured that there was no way a show like this could have any longevity. I don't think I'm completely WRONG about that... unless they expand the neighborhood and introduce us to more wives.

It just seems as though the two mysteries are almost discovered.

1. The nosey neighbor sent the threat note (and she's now dead because of it)
2. That guy was sent to investigate that divorced mom from Lois & Clark.

(Sorry, I don't have all the names memorized yet. I can only remember Bree and Gabrielle.... Mmmmm... Gabrielle....)

I absolutely love this show. It's a really good soap opera type show. It has a nice dash of comedy thrown in. I understand it's even being nominated under the comedy category for one of the upcoming awards shows. I just wonder how they will maintain this high pace for the long haul. I hope they do, because it's very entertaining.

Now that they know who wrote the note to Mary Alice, I guess now we have to learn 'why' she killed her baby, Dana.

And we have to see if Carlos' mother comes out of the coma and remembers anything about Gabrielle's affair.

And then we have to see if Bree's son get's discovered and charged with attempted murder.

Why do you think he's investigating her? I didn't get that. Did I miss something.

I really like the show. I'm a SAHM so I can relate to the mom with the 4 boys.

I'm quite surprised with the show. The teasers in the month or so preceding the show, made it seem like it was going to be unbelievably trashy... and i was thinking it was going to be 90% sex. The show is actually fairly decent... Not what I expected at all.

Haven't watched every episode... the last one I saw was the one with the kid who broke into the house and put Christmas decorations up. Has anything happened with that kid?

I don't know if he was really spying on Teri Hatcher, or if he just is infatuated with her so much that he used his surveiliance camera to snap some shots of her. Like everything else, we'll have to wait and find out the full truth of the matter.

I don't watch soaps. Back in the early 80s I got a bit hooked on Falcons Crest because I lived on an Army base in Germany and that was the only thing on, but other than that... I don't watch soaps. Blech!

That said... I love desperate housewives. I haven't seen every episode, but I've kept up with the progress of the story line. I have to give whoever at ABC gave the green light to Lost and DH because they have brought me back to a network that I really only tuned in to to see Good Morning America.

Oprah had a show with the actresses from DH and the guy that came up with the idea was on too. He said it was inspired by a show Oprah did. It was the one where the moms came on to talk about how hard it really is to stay home with your kids. I thought that was interesting.

I LLOOOOVVVEEE DH.

And what is the deal with Bree's son? I wonder if she will get sick of his attitude and turn his tookus in. I wanted to strangle him in the last episode when she was reading the Bible and he was very nonchalant about almost killing Carlos' mom because she is old. Grrrr....
