I get this from studying the bible and reasoning and a small prophetic vision.

At the entire end of the world, 7th trumpet, that's when the rapture you think of comes. Matthew 24:21describes tribulation coming before it: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Matthew 24:29-30 shows what you call the rapture happening after the tribulation period: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That is the end of the world, gave over. During the tribulation period is when christians are beheaded Revelation 20:4 (and others) 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

These christians are beheaded during the time of famine for food. No, I have no proof of this other than historical records on what man does during famine and the logical conclusion that comes from people are going to starve. People don't want to starve. People are inheriently sinful/evil. Inevidible.

There is a vision I saw of someone else that led me to this path, but I'm sure everyone who has tried to watch video on prophetic dreams no two seem to agree, so I can't give that up for evidence.

I, personally, find it extremly difficult to live with future knowledge, it is a thought that just doesn't go away no matter how much I try not to think about it. I have only had two prophetic visions of the future during the end times. One had nothing to do with famine but of sack clothes, although the other did take place in the famine I didn't get much detail other than someone saying there was a world wide famine.

If you study the facts and figures, not anyone's opinion on what they mean but the numbers themselves, the conclusion is inevidible.

For historical bible references on canabalism look at

Leviticus 26:29 You shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.

Deuteronomy 28:53 "You will eat your children, the flesh of your sons and daughters the Lord your God has given youduring the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you.
54 The most sensitive and refined man among you will look grudgingly at his brother, the wife he embraces, and the rest of his children,
55 refusing to share with any of them his children's flesh that he will eat because he has nothing left during the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you in all your towns.
56 The most sensitive and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her refinement and sensitivity, will begrudge the husband she embraces, her son, and her daughter,
57 the afterbirth that comes out from between her legs and the children she bears, because she will secretly eat them for lack of anything [else] during the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you within your gates.

If you think the people in this day and age wouldn't do the same, and worst, during the tribulation you should have another think.

Please note that my opinion of present day people isn't a very flattering one. I consider present-day humanity very capable of doing all the things that our ancestors did and very much more with the help of technology. So the only reason for my surprise is because despite of having read the book of Revelation which describes the end of the world and all the hardships involved, I had never come across anything that indicates cannibalism. My view was one of a quick annihilation of God's enemies followed immediately by the establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth. The only eating I remember was that of the fowls of glutting themselves on the meat from the carcasses of God's enemies after the treading of the winepress of God's wrath is completed.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all t fowls that fly in the midst of heaven,

Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great." (Rev. 19:17:18)

But these details are really non-salvation issues and the important thing is that we both have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and are striving to live Christian lives to the best of our abilities. Thanks for the feedback and God bless.

In Luke 21 Jesus says this about the end
The Importance of Watching
34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Prior to this Jesus is talking of the destruction of Jerusalem, which so many preterists believe is a localized event that has already happened, such as Matthew 24 having no future left and for them to be consistant, Luke 21 must also be interpreted by them in the same way. BUT, Christ tells us this destruction comes as a SNARE 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
All over the entire earth. So then Luke 21 and Matthew 24 are still future, with some parts fulfilled and others still yet to happen.

Luke 21
The Parable of the Fig Tree
29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

37 And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet. 38 Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.

v32 preterists trip up and stumble on that verse, but Christ is talking of the generation of that time that will experience all these things, verse 35 is the proof. And v36 speaks of those who are counted worthy to stand before the Christ at His returning of the second coming, which none of His generation experienced, and no one has yet experienced..

I agree with what you have said although there are many that teach false teachings from their religions about the end times, some stating it already has past. Some state that the rapture had already occured some 2000 years ago.

For the most part it doesn't matter as long as we stsy diligent in our repentance.

"Are striving to live Christisn lives to the best of our abilitties" I see as a rewording as love thy neighbor as thyself, and everyone who is saved must strive to do that, so, I believe we are in agreement for the most part.

For me, individually, it is rather important to me that I understand as much about the end times coming up as I can to be prepared.

I mean, really, Zechariah 4 is even more confusing. I'm sure it will become more clear to me as my time approaches.
