Depression

How many of us suffer from depression? I know I do and I am along with my mother. Work is awful, my parents are somewhat recently divorced, I have virutally no friends anymore, my mom cant find work. These are all things that are bad, but things could be worse. But still we have a stronghold on our family that needs to be prayed for and broken. God bless you.

i have suffered severe severe depression for the last 9 years,im talking bed for weeks,no food,cant watch tv,just want to be asleep or dead,so thank your god you can at least hold down a job and talk to your friends and family although i pray for both you and you moms condition to evaporate over time,im thinking we need christs power and permission for that to happen then hopefully your mom can find a job and you both return to society,i pray the king of creation the christ this happens for you..amen

There is hope for depression with therapy and medication. I pray you find relief from this. Your situation right now can be discouraging. Take hope in God's Word. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has awesome plans for His children. Trust Him.

Thank you all so very much. God does help me so much. When i feel really bad i can feel his love, but sometimes its hard to keep moving forward. NCJL...I pray that you are broken from those bonds and if you have been i pray they never come back. Depression is something that really attacks my entire family, and it is also something I intend to break for my furture generations. May God guide me to do so. Amen.

Lord help Rae to seek counseling as well as the love of loving and caring Christians and that she will lean on you as you give her direction and guidance and your mercy. Be with her as I know what she is going through. For I have also suffer from depression myself and still do. Help her and watch over her. In your name, amen.

I fight it. God has delivered me before, so I know you can be made safe in your heart and mind. As I have said before, Jesus is Lord of the broken hearted. So don't look down on yourself if you do suffer depression. I pray for your uplifting. And also I pray you will know a moment of intense grace. Sometimes those can really help.

I hope you do know your true value is not measurable. Well the only measurement is this, that Jesus knew you were worth His painful Lonely death. So I would take God at His word and know you are counted worth a great cost. Don't listen to any voice that tells you any different. I pray for your delivery from this burden.
