From his story it might have appeared that his life was going nowhere and everyone, even his family hated him- but it turned out that was not the case.
I think you just need to ride it out for 2 or 3 more years. Once you're old enough, you can remove yourself from that situation and start over. There are more than 6,500,000,000 people on this world. I would have to say the odds are in your favor that ONE of them will like you. Hell, I like you. I won't deny that you've been dealt a bad hand, but before you know it you'll be free from your pain. You can leave, move away, start over, and get away from these people.
I have a friend whose situation was similar to yours. I'd tell the story, but to adequately describe her mother would require more colorful language than this board permits. To summarize though, she got away from her family and has never been happier- she's also become successful in her schoolwork, which she never has been before.
