Depression (again)

Hi CF. Today I just want to ask that you will keep my in your prayers. I have been going through some extreme ups and downs lately. It's like everything will be going fine and then suddenly I get depressed and I no longer feel like living. It's gotten to where I find it extremely difficult to go to church since being around people adds to my problem. I used to be a regular member but now I am struggling just to go on Wednesday night. I feel so alone because it is so hard for me to open up to people. The internet is the only place that I can describe what is going on.

This morning I got some relief from my depression through prayer. I am actually doing good now but I am unsure of how long it will last. I know that God does answer prayers and even if He doesn't, I can still trust in Him. But sometimes I lose all hope and I am afraid that I will do something rash. Psalm 51

10Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12Restore to me the joy of Your salvation

I am sorry you have had a hard time
Please be sure to get an eval by your doc, and also support/counsel through a hotline in times of despair.
The Lord is merciful and loving and will always give you sufficient grace to work through a trial.

Lord I pray for New_Believer. I pray Lord that you will deliver her from depression and anxiety.

I am praying for you. I am glad you are going to the doctor. I am bi-polar and have fought suicidal thoughts too. Medication may be a good way for you to even out your mood swings and dark thoughts.
