denomination test

Actually in looking at the fundamental beliefs of Seventh Day Adventist it seems pretty close to what I believe, unless I missed something. I've just always been told that it was a cult, that seems a bit unfair now seeing the description. I thought I would get Quaker that's what I usually get on these tests for some reason.

That was funny, it nailed it when I expected a completely different answer. The second was a family member's religion that I haven't considered participating in but understand.

The ones I thought would be close, which I'd previously attended, were further down the list... reflecting my change of thought.

When taking the test, I thought it needed some additional questions... but these worked just fine.

Wow... nailed it pretty good for me too.

#1 was Baptist, which was the denomination I left the Catholic church to attend, and still side with that denomination

#2 was Methodist (UMC), the denomination that I've been heavily considering trying lately.

Catholic, in which I was born, raised, and baptised, was way down at #8. Which is about correct, as I left for a reason (disagreement in some of the beliefs and practices).

Pretty cool test.

Pentecostal, Anglican.
I'm not a huge fan of the Pentecostal way so I guess I'll try the Anglican church.

My #1 was Baptist. I was born and raised Baptist until our church fell apart then we moved to a non-demoninational church before moving back, then I began attending a Methodist and Lutheran church (methodist was #3 for me).

1) Catholic (I was baptized Catholic as a baby - this is by far the church I'm used to attending, but I've been unsure whether to stick to it or not.)
2) Lutheran (ECLA) (Interesting...I know very very little about Lutherans. I have no idea what ECLA stands for.)
3) Orthodox (The last church I visited was Orthodox!)
4) Lutheran (LMCS) (See #2)
5) Anglican (I've considered looking into this as well.)

My three lowest scores are:
13) Presbyterian (USA)
14) Seventh-Day Adventist
15) Jehovah's Witness.

I think my list went like:

1) Pentecostal

and the last 2 where Mormon and Jehovah Witness

I have no clue if that's accurate or not. I've always considered myself non-denominational and I'm not very familiar with the differences between them. I guess pentecostal fits me from what I know of them though I'm not really the charismatic type and I've never really been to a pentecostal church. They're a little bit... well lets say the energy is a little overwhelming and I'm not to sure on the whole "tongues" thing... although I shouldn't judge so quickly. This is just what I get from TV... and the annoying pentecostal at work... most annoying and hypocritical Christian I've ever met. Of course another guy at work is pentecostal and he's really cool so... I have noticed even with the hypocrite guy, our core beliefs are pretty similar. He's just gets a bit more soap boxy and legalistic and forceful with his beliefs and I can't stand that. Not cause I find it offensive just cause I think he does more harm than good and I feel bad for the non-Christians in the room. I just wanna punch him some times.

Still... I don't like to box myself in any kind of box. Not gonna split hairs over it.

Goliwog, I am sooooooo disappointed by that test! Either it's screwed up or me, but something definately is.

I predicted Baptist.

I would say this is pretty decent I would remove the Baptist from my list...I don't think that will ever happen

Aparently I am closest to methodism then Anglicanism. I'm actually baptist. I think this test is not the most accurate
