Well, Storm, I certainly did understand you this time.
I would contrast my "denial of my Creator" with the systematic denial of uncomfortable science you see in anti-evolutionists.
1) I do not deny God or any creator. I have never been led by my experience to construct a hypothesis of God. Therefore, there I have no hypothesis of my own to deny. I only have the ideas of others to accept or reject.
2) I do not reject others' idea of God out of hand. I ask for reliable and empirical evidence, and do not recieve any. Unlike the denial I am discussing, I do not systematically close my eyes to empirical evidence. I reject the hypothesis because of the absence of evidence.
Storm - it should be easy for us to remain friends... all it takes is mutual respect, & I think we have that.
