Well, I voted Libertarian, because the NJ Democratic senator is corrupt while his Republican opponent was a diehard Bushie.

Because someone actually saying the things you just said sounds pretty ridiculous to a rational human being. Heck, just last night Colbert had a cake made with Osama's picture on it and the caption "Congratulations Terrorists!", and then followed it up by changing his show's subtitles to Arabic, telling the audience to expect a lot of that in the future. And this is from a guy who is pretending to be a conservative so over the top that it should be obvious he isn't serious. But then I hear the above statements, practically an imitation of his latest show.
