Yes. The Bible, and personal experience.
2. What is the purpose of the demons? What drives their behavior?
Demons were originally angels who followed Satan in his rebellion. What drives them is probably the same thing that drives him. insanity....the demons minds have been so caught up in twisted thinking that they have lost any grip on reality
3. Do you believe that demons possess humans, if so, for what reason would they do this?
Yes. First, they are tyrannical in nature, so they get some enjoyment out of it. Second, they hate God and all that is truly good, so they are taking out their hatred and frustration on weak humans. Third, this hatred and frustration is combined with extreme arrogance, which in turn fuels the hatred, frustration, and desperation even more. They are jealous that we are made in the image of God, and we have been given rulership over this world which they want, so by possessing a human flesh body they can namifest themselves and their desires.
4. Do you believe there is some sort of supernatural battle between good and evil?
Absolutely. But the end is already decided. God and His forces shall have the final victory.Amen,....Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
5. How long do you think this has this battle been waged on and which side will win in the end?
It started before the creation of the world - as for when specifically, I don't know. But as I stated in my answer to No. 4, God will win.1 Corinthians 15:24
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
