Luke 11:

24 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order.

What's wrong with an orderly house?

26Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that person is worse than the first.”

Do evil spirits take advantage of an orderly house?

Matthew provides an additional detail in (BSB) 12:

44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it finds the house vacant, swept clean, and put in order.

We need to fill our house (heart) with things of God. We need to occupy ourselves with the businesses of God daily. We need to be indwelled by the Paraclete. Otherwise, demons may occupy it.
