Demons And Ghosts

I know that Demons exist. Anyway, I have someone where I live that claims this old house is haunted, but I know that the Holy Bible says once people die... they "Go Asleep." So to speak. So, Ghosts don't really exist in our realm, except the Demons, right? Plus A demon can't possess a Christian that truly believes? If there are demonic spirits here, I am untouched, but that doesn't mean the demons can try to harm me. The manager where I live says that God has a feminine side as a male side. But that I know isn't biblical. I know Satan is distorting the truth through her. She watches that new series of Vampire movies and weird movies about werewolves etc. There was one time that her and I got into biblical theology I felt I was attacked by the Devil himself because He cares not for God's WORD or God's Law. "Demons" - dark spirits - are involved in ordinary affairs all the time. It normally is in stuff like disease, violence, social disorders, social plagues, misconceptions, slander through people, whispering fear, boasts, and so on... doubt, negativity.

You need to stick to arguments. Assuming someone has a demon and just accusing them "because I think they have a demon" is bad practice. What if this was done in a court of law? It was, and it has been. And it was bad.

This is why we have "innocent until proven guilty" and a strict system of evidence and proving guilt by evidence.

The very same rules apply in anything. Evidence, evidence, evidence. Logic.

The word "Devil" means Slanderer.

Roman massacres of Christians -- slander that Christians were evil.
Inquisition -- slander that Christians and others were witches and evil.
Puritan Witch Hunts and such -- slander that Christians and others were evil.
Holocaust -- slander that Jews were evil.
Rwandan Genocide -- slander that tutsis were evil.
Armenian Genocide -- slander that Armenians were evil.

On and on and on.

Osama Bin Laden and crew -- slander of Christians and Westerners.

Jesus crucifixion -- slander by Jews that he blasphemed.

Wherever the grossest evils are, there are slanderers. Literally, "Devils".

Conversely, Jesus taught, "Do not judge", and "Do not condemn and you will not be condemned". The Pharisees taught a totally different - opposite religion - of curses, condemnation, and death.


So how much more so should Christians strive to always stick to evidence when making accusations.

Yes demons are real! Hauntings are manifestation of fear - the enemy's greatest weapon against God. The Holy Spirit conquers all evil spirits, yet the enemy is so persistent we can never reason with it. We all have power in Jesus' name to rebuke evil spirits, if the spirits have claimed that house for their own, they will have no right to remain there when a Christian claims it for God. I know this because the house I moved into was possessed by evil spirits until I cleaned it and proclaimed it for God (because I chose to live there).

The power of belief is the power of our faith, if people believe they are at the mercy of evil, they fall at the mercy of it. I wouldn't bother trying to exorcise the house if it is meant for a non-Christian to dwell there, the spirits will have no respect for your wishes and Christ cannot enforce your wishes unless He has full faith of those who seek His protection.

Remember that God can make the earth come to life before us, and so can black magic. If someone see's ghosts, it is an apparition, a visual hallucination from evil forces who are attempting to have us tremble in fear.

Oh, and I've had a friend come over possessed by evil spirits and he offended me (wasn't his fault - he doesn't even know what he's meddling with). I didn't cast the spirit out of him (I chose to respect him and not offend him), but I told him not to bring that back and since I say it with the authority of Jesus, he has been much more respectful since. I think he might have slept on it and allowed his brain to accept some of the things I told him during our conversation, but I believe the truth is that the demon who possessed him has received a rebuking from Christ to never offend me again.. it's all beyond me that's for sure, but I like the reassurance that I'm strengthened by my faith in Jesus.

Pretty cool that you suddenly have all these cool powers to know people are possessed by demons for a fact. What if he "the person" just didn't agree with you on a certain matter ? He didn't have to be possessed to "offend" you. Start thinking and stop pointing everything out as an evil spirit.

I've seen enough evil in my day to convince me that there has to be a God to counter this evil. I think that certain systems have been infected by evil. The United States legal system for example. I think it's the best system going but the reality is that evil has used that very system to it's benefit. I think that evil will damage anything and anyone it can and will continue to damage unless it is pushed away by the power of God.

I've seen enough evil in my day to convince me that there has to be a God to counter this evil. I think that certain systems have been infected by evil. The United States legal system for example. I think it's the best system going but the reality is that evil has used that very system to it's benefit. I think that evil will damage anything and anyone it can and will continue to damage unless it is pushed away by the power of God.

We also should not be deceived by anyone or any government that denies the very existence of God. Our freedom to worship is being jeopardized, pray for revival in the United States. Also, I believe what the bible says about cursing Israel:

God: "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you!" He spoke that to Abraham. If United States curses Israel, God will definitely judge this nation. I hope it don't come to that. Pray that Israel will be strengthened against their enemies and they rely on the one true God and Israel's true savior Jesus the Messiah!

Hey, I've heard that before, that Satan isn't real. I think spirituality is a Christian technique to come to terms with the light and dark forces on our mind - do you have a scripture which will help me see eye-to-eye with your beliefs?

Seen it many times but the bottom line - JESUS still drives out demons.

Our KING simply doesn't fail.

So it can't ever fail? Sure just ask the 7 sons of sceva in Acts 19:14
In your own strength, sure you will be destroyed.

But with HIM - no way.

So when and how does it all work?

Through you, Saints!
If you've got HIM, then you've gotten everything.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32

All things, even victory over demons.

By the way, demons are just another name for spirits or ghosts.

From what I've seen the demons are lacking a crucial piece of knowledge - truth. I have had an intense meeting with a demon who was driving one to suicide, still not sure they really know what they're doing to be honest. I think in their deficit of Love, it requires a bit of compassion to see where they are coming from, while maintaining utmost faith that we are right in where we are coming from. Never had my hair stand up from fear, but I've had truth give me goosebumps!
