I was talking about a family trip to New York.

I suggested going to look at some shows, like magic shows and mentioned David Blaine.

Then a bad thought popped up, such as demonic thought. I remember there was a YouTube spoof video of how the people called him demonic.

What am I supposed to do now?

Who is David Blaine?

He is a magician/illusionist. Apparently, some feel that his "abilities" may not be based on illusion only, but by occultic involvement. I don't know much about him personally.

Well, I didn't know much about him. I googled "David Blaine" Apparently, the reviews are mixed. Some Christians think he may be demonic or occultic in his abilities. Some think he is strictly an illusionist. Frankly, that kind of thing (Criss Angel included) makes me uncomfortable.

guitarintro, I don't see anything wrong with suggesting seeing a magic act. That in and of itself doesn't suggest that your thought was invoked by demons and it doesn't make you evil. If you believe that there is merit to some of the claims that this guy is using powers that are perhaps inspired by demonic rituals, simply don't go see him. But as for your thoughts, I think you are fine my friend.

Bingo! I concur with Bryan's advice to you totally. Personally, I would be uncomfortable seeing David Blaine but that's a decision for you to make.

Try to take the advice of Dr. Leo Marvin (from What About Bob?) (I love that movie) - take a vacation from your problems! Have fun bud...and if it bothers you, skip the magic show.
