demonic dreams/visitations

Hi,

I am a pentecostal christian and have been for over a decade. I first spoke in tongues when I had been a christian for a year. ever since then, a couple of times a year I have had a dream where I feel a demonic presence and I can't speak. it is like my voice is being muffled. I tell them to go away in the mname of Jesus, but at first I can't speak. the more I say it over and over, the easier it is to speak and eventually the demon goes away.

The other night I dreamed I was visited by satan huimself and he told me he didn't want me to be a christian anymore. I told him (although it was very scary) that I wasn't afraid of him and that I belonged to God. He went, and I shortly woke up.

I just wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences?

I feel like it could just be a dream, but it seems so real, but I wonder why on earth the enemy would be interested in me, I don't feel I'm much of a threat to him.

I have experienced a sense of fear in early hours of the morning. I may even have been woken up by it, (it happened many years ago I cannot remember all the details). In my case I could not move or speak easily I just had a great sense of fear. Like you I used the name of Jesus to combat the fear.


Some time latter I received ministry to delivered from a spirit of fear. Jesus set me free and that ended the problem.


As for satan appearing to you in a dream and saying he doesn't want you to be a Christian any more mmmm... I don't know what thats about! But all satan is, is an unclean spirit and you have authority over him in Jesus' name.


I think it is good for us as Christians to remember never to be impressed by what the
devil is doing, but to get involved with what God is doing and give Jesus the glory due to his great name.

I believe with all my heart that this is specifically for the purpose of getting you to take your eyes off the Lord. This is desperate times for the enemy ... his time is almost ... Jesus is near. Resist and the enemy will flee! You're doing great!! The key is to not think and focus on it but to meditate and focus on the Lord ... Give the enemy no mind ... he's not where our eyes need to be. God bless and protect you.

I don't know, but it sounds to me like the enemy has tried all his indirect attacks on you, and none have pulled you away from Christ. So now, using his greatest lie (fear), he is trying a more direct approach. You haven't let it work, and that's great.

But when something similar happened to me, and I was proved loyal to Christ, it was a turning point. Not long after that, I was given a word of knowledge about an unclean spirit in a woman's house. I knew her house, what it looked like in the attic, what the spirit looked like, and why it was hanging around her house. A family member had used an object to summon it, and hid the object. She eventually found it behind a cabinet. She prayed over it, anointed it, and destroyed it. Then she blessed her home, and the spirit never came back.

I don't think I would have been able to see that if I hadn't already had an encounter with a different unclean spirit. Trust God's voice in you. If He shows you something, don't be afraid to speak out. God can and does use the situation to bestow gifts on you.

I used to get that. I also got sucked into two demonic trances in one day... fun stuff. The demons know they can't harm us, so they try to scare us. I haven't had any crazy demonic visitations for about a year now. Most of the time all the devil wants is attention - getting our eyes off Jesus.
Just go full pelt for God, and that stuff will sort itself out.

sounds like you are in training to cast out demons. stay fearless, and stay bold in the authority of the Lord, command them to be gone in the Name of Jesus, our Lord.

yes i have had the same thing in a dream when i was very young but in my experience i actually saw hell and it made me mute for 3 years (mind you i was only 4 years old)

now this is how it works the demons come to steal kill and destroy not only you but your authority and the grace you walk in, so first you need to claim your authority that jesus died on the cross and gave you the keys over all realms of earth and spiritual, then you can command it to go like you said and that will make it go. now here is the point every one forgets and that is when you tell a spirit to go it leaves a gap and if you don't fill that gap then the spirit and more than that was there B4 will return SO it is a MUST FILL that gap with god and jesus and the holy spirit.
