Just days after an assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which was specifically motivated by the potential fall of Roe v. Wade, pro-abortion terrorist groups have now moved on to threatening the children of Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
Pro-abortion terrorists target children of Supreme Court justices | The Paradise News
Let's not minimize how scary it has been for these children and their parents. There also have been 60 attacks on pro-life organizations throughout the nation, and there will surely be more violent riots from leftists should the Supreme Court decide to turn abortion decisions to the states. There were no attempts to murder members at the Capitol, and I think it would be worthwhile for all to look at the videos of the violence perpetrated by BLM and Antifa. These are not a few kooky individuals, these are organized leftist organizations that use violence. The terror groups are being encouraged by Democrat politicians.

You forgot to include crt, global warming and the price of gas.

Mate, you really need to pick a lane and stick to it. This thread is about some people overstaying an organised set of interviews in a building alongside the capitol. They weren't even IN the capitol. And you have somehow managed to correlate this with Kavanagh, protests re Roe v Wade, the insurrection at the actual Capitol, BLM, riots, antifa, terrorist groups and apparently some Democrats who encourage them.

Is this what passes for political debate?

I talk about due process, equal justice for all. The point is these people trespassed just as a number of January 6 protesters trespassed, it is clear that a number of January 6 protesters were not told they were trespassing and were not removed, many just walked in past guards, or walked within the velvet ropes, yet they were hunted down around the nation and arrested. The Colbert people were removed yet went back. All I'm asking if for is due process, equal treatment, and this is NOT happening around the country, not with the January 6 people nor elsewhere. A government employee whether representative, mayor, judge, DA, president, or member of Congress should strive to respect the rights of everyone.

That you honestly think that anyone in the Capitol on that day thought it was just a pleasant way to spend an afternoon checking out the architectural features of the building and taking a few selfies for the folks back home, then you have excused yourself from a sensible discussion on the matter.

Are you seriously trying to tell us you do not know what those who stormed the Capitol were trying to do? And you have no idea what a group from a comedy show were doing in a Capitol Hill building with a cigar-chomping rubber puppet called Triumph The Insult Comic Dog?

Seriously?

So, please...speculate. I really would like to know.
here's coberts speculation of the event in question

People can object and protest, I believe two of the Democrats on the select committee previously objected to election results. They have a right to protest legally, if they deliberately disobey laws they should be charged, whether at the Capitol or the homes, schools, or churches of Supreme Court Justices and their families. My objection is that witnesses are not being cross-examined, if you have a hearing questions from both sides must be allowed in order to determine the veracity of a witness. And I have serious questions about police motioning people towards the Capitol and allowing people to enter with no objection. Why would they do that if it was illegal. Why should those people be charged? Do you remember they put together a timeline of people going in the side door? INCREDIBLE MUST WATCH VIDEO OF CAPITOL POLICE ALLOWING PROTESTERS TO ENTER CAPITOL SIDE DOOR!

DOJ won’t prosecute group linked to Colbert’s ‘The Late Show’ after unlawful entry arrests, Capitol police say

Federal prosecutors on Monday declined to prosecute a group of people associated with Stephen Colbert’s late-night talk show who were arrested on charges of unlawfully entering a congressional office building, U.S. Capitol Police said.

The group of nine people associated with CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” were arrested last month for ignoring instructions stay with a staff escort while inside the building, police said in a press statement.

“Members of the group had been told several times before they entered the Congressional buildings that they had to remain with a staff escort inside the buildings and they failed to do so,” the statement said.

Exactly my point. These people were told to leave previously and came back, yet they align with the Democrats and thus are not even charged. On January 6 there were a number of people that the Capitol police let in and yet they were not only charged but got jail time because they were Trump supporters.

Not because they were Trump Supporters. They are being arrested for breaking through barriers, assaulting Capitol Police who were not ushering them in, committing theft and vandalism and threatening government officials. They had various weapons from pistols to knives, to spears attached to Trump flags, and they disrupted government business. Remember the "Hang Mike Pence" chants.

They earned their punishment.

There were many there who were just there, no attempts to murder Supreme Court justices or to threaten them, absolutely no acts of violence and no intent whatsoever to break any law. The Colbert people were told to leave and they decided to violate the law. This two tiered system is not acceptable, I don't think people stop to realize that someday they will have different views than those in authority and may themselves become victims.

Valletta, who said they were at the Capitol to murder Supreme Court Justices? They have their own building and were not meeting. Insurrectionists did not attempt to murder a Supreme Court justice, just Pence and Pelosi and Dems. An Oathkeeper admitted that. Oathkeeper Thomas Caldwell bragged in messages that have since been obtained by authorities that they would have killed. The link with the quote also has profane comments by Caldwell.

"If we'd had guns I guarantee we would have killed 100 politicians," Caldwell wrote, according to messages prosecutors obtained. "They ran off and were spirited away through their underground tunnels like the rats they were."

No intent to break a law???
Why did they bust windows to get in or notice the windows were broken as they followed the crowd??
Why did they ignore the commands of the Capitol Police?
Why did they beat members of the Capitol police?
Did the many "who had to intent to commit a crime" notice the bear spray or the fighting going on?
We they oblivious?
Ask Michael Fannone if crimes were committed against him, a police officer, when the insurrectionists BEAT him causing him to have a heart attack while beaten.

Other crimes:
Explainer: Hundreds Charged With Crimes in Jan. 6 Capitol Attack

More than 250 people have been charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement who were trying to protect the Capitol, including more than 85 accused of using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to an officer. Others have been accused of assaulting members of the media — one an Associated Press photographer — or destroying media equipment.

The most serious cases have been brought against members of two far-right extremist groups, the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.

The leaders of both groups have been arrested and remain locked up while they await trial later this year for seditious conspiracy, which alleges a plot to forcibly oppose the lawful transfer of presidential power. The rarely used Civil War-era charge calls for up to 20 years in prison.

Willful ignorance becomes obvious.

If I were at the rally and walked down to the Capitol with the crowd, not really knowing the plans of a portion of them, I still wouldn't have entered the Capitol. The raucous crowd would have clued me in that it was not acceptable or lawful.

A 69 year old grandmother with cancer who asked police for help was facing possibly the rest of her life in prison if she did not accept a misdemeanor plea as opposed to people who after being told decided to once again violate U.S. law. Federal Judge Sentences 69-Year-Old Grandmother with Cancer to 2 Months in Jail for ‘Parading’ in the Capitol on January 6 - Tennessee Star vs. people who deliberately broke the law.

69 year old grandmother who pushed through police lines multiple times and encouraged rioters gets simple misdemeanor charge.

From your own link

Government prosecutors say the 69-year-old cancer patient pushed through police lines three different times as the crowd outside the Capitol grew violent, and encouraged rioters to push their way inside the building while exaggerating how “frail” she was.

Prosecutors said Hemphill didn’t take their advice because she was allegedly seen in a subsequent video encouraging the crowd to press forward into the Capitol.

“Just come on in,” she allegedly yelled at the crowd. “It’s your house, whose house does it belong to?”

And she's not getting "life" or "the rest of her life" - she's getting 8 weeks.
