A moot point, since the Dems won in Alabama.
We'll call that a double win then since many Republicans went all out to try to get someone like Moore elected.
A win for common decency then as well.

Senator Graham of SC says that if Moore wins, he will be a gift to the Democrats that keeps on giving.
From the "Right is wrong and good is evil", files: Why Democrats win even if they lose in Alabama
Democrats head into Tuesday’s Senate election in Alabama confident that they'll come out on top no matter who wins.
...
If Roy Moore wins, they'll spend the next year yoking every Republican they can to the accused child predator and a president who welcomed him into the GOP fold. They'll be quick to remind everyone of all the other comments Moore has made against Muslims and gays and in favor of Vladimir Putin’s view of America as evil, as well as his rosy view of slave-era America.
Curiously, the few Republicans cited to be in agreement with this Democrat philosophy seem to be the ones who haven't fared well in the Trump era.
One who calls himself a Christian should never support abortion.
Noting that your alleged pedophile lost.Pedophilia, however, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Noting that your alleged pedophile lost.
Noting that your post is just WRONG!Jones is not really my candidate, as I don't live in Alabama, has not been accused of anything (AFAIK), and, in case all that hurting has caused memory loss, he won.
Three inaccuracies in six words -- a new CF record?
Noting that your post is just WRONG!
Go back and reread my post ... for clarification and understanding.
He may not have been the candidate you would have voted for ... but he was most certainly the candidate about whom you were posting.Clarification of what? Moore was never mine, so you can't possibly be referring to him... that just leaves Jones.
He may not have been the candidate you would have voted for ... but he was most certainly the candidate about whom you were posting.
Touchy today? Then you should have said that instead of assigning ownership of a pedophile to me.
Touchy today?
Not even.Yes, it appears you are.
You're the first person wanting to discuss the choice of wording.Otherwise I would think you would have just admitted you phrased it poorly and rephrased what you were claiming.
Not even.
You're the first person wanting to discuss the choice of wording.
Then, perhaps he should have said that.Odd, I thought that was what TLKValentine stated in post 33 ("then you should have said that"); and even implied in previous posts, when he was responding to your actual words.
CNN had an interesting commentary this morning -- it was the first election where both major parties were rooting for the other guy. Had Moore won, he would've been an anchor around the GOP's neck that would almost certainly cost them the Senate next year... and possibly the House. Both parties were well aware of this, and it meant a whole lot more than the 1 seat in the Senate which was at stake.
That is true but I think Trump & the RNC having thrown full support to Roy Moore is still going to be damaging next year.
