  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Democratic Party sues Russia, Trump campaign and WikiLeaks for conspiring to disrupt 2016 election

BWAHAHAHAHA. They realize that they're going to be forced to turn over those servers now, right?

Perhaps they need the funds to settle the suit against them for rigging the primaries.

That, and no one is giving them rubles.

Hey, @NotreDame How likely is it a judge will let it actually go forward?

I fully expected a link to The Onion.

Nope. CNBC.

The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that "In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort" to mount "a brazen attack on American Democracy," which included Russian infiltration of the Democratic Party computer network.

Good.

I think the point of this is to bring forth the evidence of collusion. And if they have to produce the email server, as embarrassing as that may be, it is for the good of the Republic.

I think they have enough evidence to push this forward. I don't know what will come of it though since it can't undo the past, and I don't think they will get a dime even if they can prove damages.

I find your optimism charming. That said, what makes this different from Mueller? What's stopping him from finding evidence, if it exists?

Interesting. I can see how sacrificing the Democrat party might be good for the Republic.

Well, sometimes it's necessary to burn the village in an attempt to save it.

The saddest thing about all of this collusion stuff is people even demonize WikiLeaks as much as Trump. Or now think WikiLeaks works with Russia too. lol

Hate Trump all you want, but WikiLeaks is your friend, whether you know it or not. You're going to love it someday. And Assange himself says it was never Russia who gave him DNC emails.

This is like the GOP suing Woodward for exposing Nixon. :asd:

Only if the DNC actually does hand over their servers.
Does anyone really want them at this point?

Taxpayers have already paid millions for a seemingly pointless and endless investigation. Seems more like time to cut the losses.
