CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I used to watch the Degrassi High series when I was 7. And then forced to watch the Junior High and High series in middle school. I have seen the newer ones and personally they are far better than the older ones. The new series have far better actors than the original series.

It's a great show. I just watched a new episode where Paige and Manny get at each other, and at one point (near the end) Paige does something so very horrible to poor Manny...

i love that show! i personally love the drama...but sometimes it will go off the edge! but i still love it and am trying to talk my mom into taking me to see them on tour!!

My brother and I always watched it from Degrassi Junior High onward. My mother got us into it because she was from Toronto and the school they used for the set she went to. We watched Degrassi high too. I don't like The Next Generation...they changed everything Degrassi was about and I was disappointed...then again it was probably below me anyway.
