  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Someone the other day did not like what I said in a thread called "If you have to remain single the rest of your life". And their attempt at understanding my satement was in error. So, to help I have decided after praying and talking to a moderator to define a few phases, and the one that cause the main problem.

Once a person is born in this world, they will take one of three paths.

The first path, is for those who see the light of God and embraces it. It may happen the first time or they may need to bath in the light a few time before accepting the truth. And in this person life, if they die before God returns then they die with God. Aka "Death with God".:holy:

The second path is for those who has heard of God but have decided to remain out of the light. Even though it is their choice it is still very sad that this person will learn when its too late (judgment day) that they should have taken the walk into the light. In this case, the death of this person is one who dies without God. Aka "Death without God".

The third path is for those who have never heard the word of God and dies without ever knowing the glory of God. Which means this person never had the chance to accept God and become saved. This may occur because the person is child from unsaved parents and dies before they are able to learn the word. Or second and more likely reason is that a Christian did not testify to this person. In this case, the inaction of this Christian causes Jesus to pay for the Christian's inaction. Which means that Jesus paid for the sin to allowed a person to die without God. And that is a travesty that is called "Worst than Death without God".

We should judge ourself and make sure that we are not a Christian that has or will cause Jesus to pay for such sin.

Now what does this have to do with marriage or being single I may get to that later if from a prayer God allows me to say. And to fully understand what I will say if allowed, you must be a person that is ready for marriage or is seeking a mate for marriage.

Hi,

I think that this is actually a pretty complicated and subject that only God knows for sure. I think how people die and where they go is too great for us to judge. The important thing is that we know Christ, and we follow His lead as He guides us.

I once went to witness to an unbeliever who I thought was a funny and reasonable guy. He had even previously asked if I went to church. But the Holy Spirit was warning me about Him, that there really are pigs out there that you should not cast your pearls before! (Matt 7:6).

So, I think we just need to follow Christ and leave God to handle the details.

I often wonder what happens to people from the third category. What about the kids who die in miscarriage or abortion, or who are stillborn, or who die before being able to understand the gospel and choose to accept Christ as their savior? I've always been taught that they go to heaven, and in my heart I still believe that, but I haven't found a passage in the Bible that addresses this kind of situation directly.

I believe that kids that die in abortion, miscarriage, and stillborn also go to heaven as well. Let me know when you find that bible scripture.
