CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Creation (noun) -- something that is created; the act of creating.
Seriously, I assume you mean cretion as it applies to this forum.
My definition:
The belief that reality as we know it (life, the universe, and everything) was somehow conjured into existence by a supernatural being.

No relationship to time. Instead God is telling of each completed task.

However, this doesn't really capture the full weight of the term. Usually when a Creationists uses "creation", he or she means that God created the world in 6 literal days without using evolution -- merely zapping the aimals and plants into existence.
(Except for old-earth Creationists, they would change that first part to "God created the world over 4.5 billion years")

Yes, I know that. Contrary to popular belief, most of the people in this debate will have read the source texts for at least one side.

Did you know that the Bible also says that clouds are the dust that the Lord kicks up as he walks? It's in Nahum 1:3
